Doing jobs Americans won't do. Vanity
CNN Lou Dobbs ^ | April 12, 2006

The illegal invaders are threatening our Ports on May 1. Go here to read the transcript:

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/12/ldt.01.html

CASEY WIAN, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice over): They've already marched in the streets. Now supporters of unconditional amnesty for illegal aliens are taking their protests to a whole new level, trying to shut down the nation's ports and rail lines.

ERNESTO NEVAREZ, L.A. PORT COLLECTIVE: It will come to a grinding halt, transportation, commerce. They are going to put a wall along the border with Mexico. We're going to put a wall between us and the ocean. And those containers ain't going to move.

NATIVO LOPEZ, MEXICAN-AMERICAN POLITICAL ASSN.: I would like them to join us on May 1st in shutting down their business and for school authorities to recognize May 1st as a floating holiday. I'm asking them to get in front, anticipate the great absence in their workforce and in the schools.

The May 1st boycott has clear Marxist overtones. Supporters include communists, socialist and anarchist groups.

GLORIA ROMERO (D), CALIFORNIA STATE SENATE: Some people might ask, why would a senator sitting in Sacramento support a boycott essentially of California business? As a senator, I represent citizens and non-citizens alike.

WIAN: And apparently illegal aliens.

(DOBBS: These are remarkable calls, by any definition. Are the officials, for example, at the port taking the threat of a possible strike on May 1st seriously?

WIAN: Well, I have to say, the port officials we spoke to today were not aware of this threat until we told them about it, but they say now they will take it seriously. They say it's likely the California Highway Patrol, the port police, terminal operators, security forces will all be at a heightened states of alert on May 1st -- Lou.

Please print this and fax it to every Senator and Congressman. Tell them that the terroists on 911 said they attacked the WTC to affect our economy.

Now those that entered this Country illegally are threatening to affect our economy and bring us to our knees by shutting down our economy, ports, railroads, wall street, businesses.

These people are NOT to be given the priviledge of citizenship, no amnesty in fact they must be deported immediately and the border closed tight and fast!!

Communist, marxist groups are supporting their cause. That's enough! They should not be collecting welfare or even working in this country!

That Nativo Lopez is an absolute nutcase. For real. He is worse than Jackson or even Sharpton.

Stop freaking welfare and then watch what jobs Americans won't take.
Get a job or starve.

That's an excellent point you raise. We truly have done a one-eighty haven't we? How sad is that.

Blocking the ports is serious and I mean serious in ways most people won't understand till it hits them in the pocketbook.

If they do pull it off, it could turn out to be a blessing in disguise, since it'll show the rest of the country just how deranged a lot of these protesters are, and how low they'll sink to get the government to cater to their demands.

Illegals make labor cheap.

Back when this was not a problem an honest working man could make a living for his family just by the strength of his arms and back.

Think about that.

Not everyone is a rocket scientist. Not everyone is fit to be a CPA, a police officer, or even a shyster.

Shall we tell some of our fellow citizens, "You are too damn dumb to make a living here"?

I say, run all the illegals out of this country this very instant.

Build the damn wall.

All but see there is a method to the madness of this "cheap" labor. Remember when the liberals push through that last minimum wage hike for union raises. Well with conservatives holding all three branches of government another wage hike is not on their horizon.

Now if liberals can regain control, especially of the House of Representatives over this illegal invasion workers, working for non-living wages, first act of a liberal House will be to raise that non-living wage and then IMPEACHMENT.

We taxpayers are already funding the schooling and health care for these that are here illegally, socialism is eating away the foundation of this nation from the political, economic, educational and these liberals used that final institution religion as pretense for their pretend compassion.

EVEN if we were to legalize all of the illegals and they worked above board, they still are a drain, in fact it will be worse. They still would not pay taxes like you or I. They would qualify for the earned income tax credit, foodstamps and medicaid and other freebies. There is no such thing as cheap labor.

You are correct, I remember how the A.N.S.W.E.R. commies tried to start 'revolution' over Iraq. They are not going to back down on this they think they have the NUMBERS to win, reason for their masssssss protest, cause fear and unrest inside USA.

Non-Documented Immigrants = Criminals = Terrorists, apparently.

Somebody needs to tell them this is NOT the way to win friends and influence people. (Better yet, perhaps this overt threat to the nation will open the eyes of some of America's complacent sheeple.)

"There is no such thing as cheap labor."

Yes but that is the dirty little secret there is nothing cheap about it. The deception comes about with the nobody else will clean the elitist toilets or pick their food. Well see the reason why these come and clean their toilets and pick the food is cause you and I are paying for their schooling and their health care. Liberals are wining through the back door socializing the basic fiber of our society.

I've said it before and I'll say it again... the US citizens who are against illegals should also do a one day walk-out, Can you imagine 100 million people not going to work for a day? No airlines, no trains, no stores open, hospitals shut down...

Then we'll REALLY see "who needs who".

LOL

I agree. A new wall is cheaper than a new civil war.
