This article is no surprise to me at all. It is clearly a fact that the KGB and GRU are doing this.
Yet, I suppose freepers still believe it is hugely improbable that the KGB and/or GRU would penetrate and make contact with the vast network of communist organizations that David Horowitz has documented is covering America.
I suppose the vast majority of freepers think it is equally improbable that the KGB and/ or GRU would try to directly influence individual members of the mainstream media---even though the mainstream media functions as a virtual service organization for their interests.
For example, would the KGB try to blackmail someone in a high position in the media. Oh no, that would be tinfoil hats. Could the KGB be maintaining contact with Hillary Clinton, a person who was in a vitriolic Marxist as a graduate student? More foil hats I suppose, correct? And I suppose it would be equally paranoid to attach any importance to Bill Clinton's journey through eastern Europe and into Russia as a young man.

I don't know that it's active KGB (FIS?) and GRU that's doing this. Far more likely is that *former* operatives that are now out of favor or have lost their contacts at high levels that left their service and are now for sale to the highest bidder *or* are conducting operations against us on their own. Not at all uncommon in this post-Cold-War era.
It is hard not to believe they continue on a long term to infiltrate this country in all sectors of interest. People like Hildabest are already usefull idiots. What equally concerns me is the fact a lot of these agents can slip in from Canada and Mexico with ease. Once in situ. They lurk. Wait for a signal to blow something up. Heck with all the stuff now being translated that show without a doubt even Saddam was arranging for terror cells to be implanted in the US, how can anyone doubt the Russians are not still in on this little nasty game. An who better to play the game with then goons like Hisbollah.
