A female Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy was shot and fatally wounded in the driveway of a home in Long Beach this morning.
Neighbors in the middle-class Wrigley district reported hearing four gunshots around 6 a.m., apparently as the deputy was approaching her car to go to work.

FATAL IS FAIRLY CRITICAL.......
Keep us apprised Karl. This might be a domestic or just a criminal act.Pray for the police who protect us with that "thin blue line"

It will be interesting to see who the perp is if they catch him/her.
fatal means dead...what is up?
Odds are it's a DV situation; ex-boyfriend or ex-husband.
Thanks for the report. Sorry to hear about this.
