Do the Democrats REALLY Support Terrorism Against the USA?
NoDNC.com Commentary ^

Posted on 03/22/2006 11:48:11 AM PST by woodb01

Let me just start this peice by saying up front that I consider the "Main Stream Media" and the Democratic Party as one and the same.

The political rhetoric has become so shrill from the Democratic Party and their talking heads in the Democrat News Media that I have actually found myself wondering if the Democrats actually want another attack to occur on U.S. soil? In the end, I have to admit that they don't. Unfortunately though, their rhetoric is so damaging and so dangerous that many Americans are wondering the same thing. And in spite of the Democrat talking heads in the news media, the Democrat polling numbers which we don't hear much about are worse than the President's often paraded numbers.

Take for example the NSA spying issue. Russ Fiengold, who has Presidential aspirations in 2008, is trying to censure President Bush for supposedly breaking the law and spying on international phone calls to suspected terrorists. To hear the DNC shrieking, wailing, whining, and gnashing of teeth, along with their media allies, you'd think that the DNC and the media are terrified that THEIR calls are being listened to. It makes me wonder what conversations their having that they are so terrified about? I digress.

The fact is, the Democrat media talking heads and their Democrat political puppets and lap dogs in the Congress know the spy program is perfectly legal and legitimate. After all, if they TRULY believed that this program was so bad, and so evil, Fiengold would have already submitted legislation to ban all of the NSA spying. That's not the issue, they know there's no problem with the program, however the Democrats have become so radical, so extreme, so filled with their lust for power that they are willing to engage in any amount of hate and Goebbles-style propaganda to undermine Bush.

In the end, it is my sincere hope that America will wake up to just how perverse the Democratic Party has become. After all, they represent America don't they? Just ask their special interest groups in N.O.W., the ACLU, G.L.A.D., the Teacher's Unions, Planned Parenthood, and the list goes on. All of those groups are certainly a representative sample of mainstream America, aren't they?

I don't think they actually root for the terrorists. They just want power back so desperately that they cannot support the President in any fashion.

But I could be so wriong...

Huh? They have said as much, and almost in those words. I've read in many threads that the reporters are complaining that now they have to fly to the Middle East to talk to their "sources".

They just want power back so desperately that they cannot support the President in any fashion.

And they do that while declaring the the President is being partisan and he stole the election.

I've had that very same thought many times since this debate/smear campaign began. There's something really rotten going on here, and we need to find out what. More importantly, we need to find out WHO. Someone's worried they'll be caught telling secrets to those whom should not hear them.

Some folks just hate Bush, and can't see past the hate. If he says 2=2+4, they have to argue it's 5.

Others are in a way more "principled" and far more dangerous. they see themselves as "citizens of the world," and see the UN rather than the US as the chief guarantor of rights for humanity. they see the US and its "imperialism" and "capitalism" as the source of the world's problems; we are at best just another country with its own selfish interests or at worst evil incarnate because of its unique status and character. Simply put, they hate this country, and think patriotism is some sort of disgusting racist notion.

That's the sick mindset. It disgusts me beyond words, but that's what some think.

Of course they don't.

Their actions speak louder then their shrill words. By their actions they:

** Unwittingly give aid and comfort to the terrorists.

** Continue to undermine the President and the office of the President.

** Take no decisive actions of support of either our troops, or the cause.

** have failed to offer any alternatives to the President's actions.

** Continue to make false statements, oftentimes when out of the country.

** Use the death of key individuals to rally support for their cause (Wellstone, King)

Of course they would never admit that the above accusations have any merit of truth to them, yet on some level, I do believe that the Democrats, if/when we are attacked again would use that attack as an example of Bush's 'failures' and not as a rallying cry to support him.

I think you may be partially right and I'd agree with you if the Democrats didn't go out of their way in situations like AbuGraib to hammer not just the President but our Soldiers and in general our country. They also at every turn readily provide excuse after excuse for the terrorists and seem to have a "US is responsible for all the worlds ills" perspective.

I was wondering. Bush just might say 2=2+4....And the rats would argue for 5.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. I would love to see GWB, and the GOP, start a whole "love America" campaign and make the dems argue against it. I think we could all use a strong dose of patriotism, and the country is hungry for it after all the America-bashing.
