Lock them all up and throw away the keys. These people belong in jail for a very long time. I feel very sorry for the children of these creeps.

Syringe Contained 50 Grams, Police Say

A Warren woman is being charged with injecting about 50 grams of heroin into the arm of her 12-year-old nephew.

The incident occurred on Jan. 24 at a home on Cottage Lane, in the Groesbeck area, where the boy lived with his grandmother, according to the Macomb Daily.

The 12-year-old was eating spaghetti in the basement of the home when Jacqueline Ellen Vuich, 25, allegedly took a syringe and injected a brown liquid near the elbow, according to police.

Relatives rushed the unconscious boy to the emergency room. Doctors at Henry Ford Bi-County Hospital transferred him to Children's Hospital in Detroit where he was listed in critical condition, according to the paper.

Let me be the first to call "BS" on this. A sugar packet is a gram. Imagine the equivalent of 50 packets of sugar in a syringe.

Also, just guessing that a gram of heroin's street value is $100, that would be $5,000 bucks worth.

Wouldn't 50 grams of heroin be fatal?

I didn't write this story.
I believe they don't know the difference between grams and grains.

50 grams would kill an elephant, I think the "reporter" thinks grams and grains are the same.

I would think a bag or even half a bag would put down a 12 yr old.How much is in a bag I havn't a clue. I can not understand why she would do this. From having a junkie brother, now deceased I know that most addicts wouldnt give up their dope. Something seems strange here. Was she trying to kill the kid ? I never heard if he died or not. This is unthinkable to me, to do this to a child. Where were child services?
