Norway's most controversial refugee, Mullah Krekar, told an Oslo newspaper on Monday that there's a war going on between "the West" and Islam. He said he's sure that Islam will win, and he also had praise for suspected terrorist leader Osama bin Laden.
"We're the ones who will change you," Krekar told Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet in his first interview since an uproar broke out over cartoons deemed offensive to Muslims.
"Just look at the development within Europe, where the number of Muslims is expanding like mosquitoes," Krekar said. "Every western woman in the EU is producing an average of 1.4 children. Every Muslim woman in the same countries are producing 3.5 children.
"By 2050, 30 percent of the population in Europe will be Muslim."
He claimed that "our way of thinking... will prove more powerful than yours." He loosely defined "western thinking" as formed by the values held by leaders of western or non-islamic nations. Its "materialism, egoism and wildness" has altered Christianity, he claimed.
Krekar, who's been supported by the Norwegian government since arriving as a refugee from northern Iraq in the early 1990s, now faces deportation after violating the terms of his refugee status and being deemed a threat to national security.
Bin Laden 'a good man' Krekar told Dagbladet that he favours Islamic rule where political and religious leaders are one and the same. One such leader he respects, he said, is Osama bin Laden.
"Osama bin Laden is a good person," Krekar said. He claimed Osama bin Laden is considered a terrorist simply because he lacks his own state.
"Those who say Osama bin Laden is a terrorist are themselves killing our women and children," Krekar said.
Attempts to "spread democracy," he claimed, are merely a ruse to wage war against Islam, adding that "the West destroyed the Taliban regime in Afghanistan" because "it feared the Islamic state."
He is telling it like it is. The EU had better listen and respond, but of course they won't.

Can't argue with that. Of course, a dark age religion like Islam is not the solution....
You know, it is not just Europe.
Within the USA the fertility rate of white women is about the same as in Europe.
Our denial will not win. People have to wake up and recognize the Islamic threat!
Its the cuckoo problem. The differential in reproduction only works as long as the host nest's parents provide support. We in the West (Europe and US) do it to the underclasses through welfare.
Historically, people that were poor had lots of children so some of them would survive, because of the high mortality rate. Now, modern medicine and welfare gives a higher survival rate... so the underclass (or in this case, Muslim) cuckoo can outreproduce the host.
It is ultimately self limiting when the host is overwhelmed and stops providing food and medicine, but as the host, I'd rather find some other solution than the long term limit cycle which results in brutish poverty for all.
Why are Europeans, and for that matter, US intellectual and political "elites" too dumb to see this?

You almost get the feeling that some people believe islam is genetic. When we get back to the moon and land on Mars, many of these children of moslems will take a look around and see which way the wind is blowing.
The primary task of any nation or civilization is to defend its territory, if it doesn't it dies. The goofy theories of multiculturalism don't alter reality, not for Europe, not for America.
muslims should be mindful of what happened to the Jews of Europe and technology has progressed to the point that the Euros can be much more efficient this time.
Don't be too quick to call it for doom and gloom. There are still a lot of us who will stand and fight.
In America, anyway. Europe doesn't look as good, but they still have a chance.
