This is a verbatim transcript of Sen. Ford's remarks to reporters as she was leaving the Senate committee examining her election Thursday.
"Nothing like this has ever happened before, that's why God is using me _ little old me _ to make needed laws that needed to be changed. It's not just affecting our state, it's going to affect our whole country with laws needing to have been change.
They had to come upon a way to do it. What can they do but something like that? I think they're doing the very best that they can, my colleagues, I really do. I think the judge is offering them advice the best that they can.
God is using me, can't you see it? the writing is on the wall. He chose little old me to use. I don't know when you all are going to get that. It's not about me. I've been chosen. I was chosen to get into this election by the Lord that I serve. I didn't want to get into this controversial election. But the Lord I serve chose me. Now report that, and then you'll have some people understanding what's going on and what's taking so long.
I've got to get back to Memphis. I haven't been to Memphis in a week.
I do other things. I am so busy. This is a part-time job for me, and I say yes Lord, and cooperate.
I believe this is more political than anything else, that's what I really believe more than any of it. And the Republicans want that seat.
They want it so bad that they'll do anything. And it's not doing anything but bringing out what has been going on within politics all the time.

I assume Senator Ford is part of the Tennessee crime family we now learn is stealing on orders from God.
