A woman whose various views range all the way from far left to, um, even farther left regularly spells them out at her Web site, barbrastreisand.com.
As The Drudge Report notes, Streisand's latest anti-Bush rant features 11 misspelled words, including "Irag," "curruption," "subpoening," "desperatly" and "warrented." A sample: "The arrogance of this C student who maligns his opponents' crediblity [sic] by calling them flip floppers . . ."
This is not the first time one of her missives was found to be riddled with poor spelling - though 11 errors may represent a personal best.
.....Streisand's people (who are the most beleaguered people) quickly raced to correct the typos.
Streisand is a product of Brooklyn's Erasmus Hall High School - graduating back when, according to legend, it was churning out top scholars. And, to be charitable, one "C" speller.

I mean what has she actually done in the last decade?

In traditional liberal style, Babs blamed her secretary for the errors. These people just can't help lying.
Right on!!!
:-)
Don't know too many who pay atttention; but still, she is heard 'round the world' as per her mention on Drudge. . .
She probably writes and her Secretary/Web assistant corrects; bet Babs hit the wrong button before this one was corrected. . .or could be she was just carried away with her own unfortunate muse.
LOL, bet she is steamed over front-page mention on Drudge. . .
(. . .and of course, this soooo typifies those 'elitist' Bush critics. . .they could not wear Bush's shoes. . .much less tie them.)
Did Barb even write the piece? Or she left it to one of her ghost writers?
I mean come on...I get embarrased when I mispell a word here. Of course here there is actually the possibility that more than a dozen people will read what I wrote but still...
Maybe it's time for Mr. Brolin to password Bab's computer and not let her use it unless she's properly supervised by a competent adult.

Liberals are, by and large, products of the government school system; lack of spelling ability is to be expected.
It is possible that her explanation is true, though it is a lame excuse. It is her website, and she is ultimately responsible for the quality of the content therein. The thing that bothers me the most is publicly blaming an employee. That is a huge managerial no-no. You may fire them privately, but you do not call them out publicly.
What an ignerent bich. |
Consider these people, then, their way of life, their habits, their manners, the very tones of their voice; look at them attentively; observe the literature they read, the things which give them pleasure, the words which come forth out of their mouths, the thoughts which make the furniture of their minds; would any amount of wealth be worth having with the condition that one was to become just like these people by having it? -- Matthew Arnold
The fact that her secretary didn't spell check it for her doesn't negate the fact that she's an idiot that can't spell and can barely structure a sentence.
She's got herself a high school edumacation - and she can sing (sort of). I guess that means us little people need to listen to her.
When you believe that you possess the "truth", and are in the process on enlightening the masses, (in order to save them) should you have to demonstrate the capability to spell it out? (sarc)
Just give us the anger, ma'am!
It IS truly a wonder. . .
Bab's no doubt demanding that her PR person do something. . .so maybe we will be hearing about her latest charitable contributions. . .or 'free garage sale' or somesuch. . .soon.
Or. . .the Brolin's could just take a European trip.
Or just could be that Bab's built-in arrogance coupled with her stupidity will protect her. . .it is a great combination for those who most need it. . .
A canary sings as sweetly...and has a larger brain.
Now, wait a minute. I thought there was no such thing as bad publicity. ;-)
