Democrat for Senate: Kill practicing 'gays'

Candidate says incumbent Republican not advocating biblical values enough

Merrill Keiser

A Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate in Ohio wants to make homosexual behavior a capital crime punishable by the death penalty.

Merrill Keiser Jr. is a trucker with no political experience, but he hopes to beat fellow Democrat Rep. Sherrod Brown in the May primary. The winner will try to unseat Republican incumbent Sen. Mike DeWine, assuming he wins the GOP primary.

"Just like we have laws against murder, we have laws against stealing, we have laws against taking drugs – we should have laws against immoral conduct," Keiser told WTOL-TV in Toledo.

Keiser, 61, says he's running as a Democrat because that's how he was registered the last time he voted.

The trucker, who hails from Fremont, Ohio, says there needs to be more adherence to biblical values in government, business and education – something he claims DeWine is not promoting.

"I believe that the United States has been moved in a Godless direction by the courts," he told the Sandusky Register. "To get good men on the court, we need good senators."

Some of Keiser's other positions include defense of the Second Amendment, securing U.S. borders, lower taxes to stimulate the economy, support of Israel and prayer in public schools.

Keiser told the Register the United States should make conversion to Christianity part of the war on terror to teach Muslims the error of their choice in religion.

The candidate also decries evolution, saying it is contrary to the Declaration of Independence.

Jesus didn't "save a prostitute." Without going into the questionable history, seeing as how it was a later insertion absent from early copies of the Gospel according to John, the Pharisees brought Christ a woman accused of adultery and the narrative (not ethical guideline) is a story of a shameful situation in which they try to entrap Jesus so that they may have a charge to bring against him.

Those appear to be Taliban fighters - they are waging a war against both Christian and Jew - fighting for a flase prophet, Muhammed - and according to Mr. Rushdie's book - on the satanic verses, Muhammed himself concluded that it was not God, but Satan that spoke to him.

No one here is giving you an answer of yes and no at the same time.

What you are trying to do is make myself and Coulter Fan look as though we are going to go out the front door, wielding a samurai sword looking for homosexuals, when NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH.

My position is this.

God commands in the scriptures themselves that all pedophiles, adulterers, homosexuals, murderers and rapists deserve capital punishment BY THE STATE. This is not for their thoughts, God specifically restricts the state from punishing a man for his thoughts, it's for the ACT of these.

This conclusion is come to FROM THE SCRIPTURES not from something I made up.

We all know that God commanded these things. Look into your bible and you will see. The discussion should be whether or not you believe this to still be the case today, and if not, then why? Give me a biblical reason why.

The scriptures say that God looks at this act as one on the same level with rape and pedophilia as far as punishment goes.

Does this mean the offender could not be forgiven? NO!! This is why we go into prisons and share the gospel with those inside.

Matthew 6:1 - Be careful not to do your 'acts of righteousness' before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.

Matthew 10:14-16 - If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town. I tell you the truth, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town. I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.

Thanks for the lesson Reverend. It is the best explanation of the meaning and application of the Law that I've read, I'm ashamed to say. Can I join your Bible class?

Is it true that the rebellious youth in question could have repented at any time and escaped his just punishment?

I don't. Matthew 18:6 - But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

I rather doubt you know what you speak.

"What you don't understand is the best way to get other people to follow these laws is not to force them to follow the law, but to show them through love that following the law is truly the best way to live."

That is the best way according to whom?

We'll, I'd interject and say that we're exempting ourselves and should be as the men of Sodom, let us suffer their judgment. So we didn't skip over, do unto others. You have done precisely what you accuse - you misuse that very line and as to "holier-than-thou" - I'm not ringing the bell to showeth my good acts - for Heaven's sake I'm just trying to get them to acknowledge the truth about the sin.

the Pharisees brought Christ a woman accused of adultery and the narrative (not ethical guideline) is a story of a shameful situation in which they try to entrap Jesus so that they may have a charge to bring against him.

That's exactly right. In addition, there are MANY problems that Jesus would have seen with this situation. All you need to do is look at it for a moment.

1. Where's the man?

If these were credible witnesses, then where's the man? They stated she was "caught in the act". Well..... the man should have been there too? Jesus was wise enough to see this. Even if she had been caught in the act and they let the man go, they are no longer a credible witness and the charges must be dropped. Jesus knew they were trying to trap him into condemning a woman on false grounds.

2. How did these men know where she lived?

They "caught her in the act".... did they barge into her house? Strange? It is also forbidden for charges to be brought against an individual who is guilty of the very same crime. Many of these men may have been with her themselves and thus Jesus' comment "he who is without sin, let him cast the first stone".

I asked a simple question...according to the Bible, God told Moses that anyone woirking on the Sabbath should be put to death.

Is that right, or is that wrong?

Should people who work on the Sabbath be put to death?

I have to agree with most everything you posted.

Child molesters should be slain outright.

Due to the squeamish nature of societies today, the sodomites should/could be gathered and totally isolated and allowed to live out the rest of their miserable existences.

In the space of a generation we'll see what God and nature think of them.

So, according to you, homosexuals should be killed because God said so.

Deuteronomy 5:17 Thou shalt not kill.

God also told us NOT to kill.

What about it?

Too lazy to search this whole thread, but could this guy be a follower of Lyndon LaRouche? I think he usually ran as a demo-rat.
