AURORA - Patti Allen has spent a good chunk of her life as a staunch supporter and defender of public education. Her dad was a high school English teacher in Illinois who changed careers and later became a member of a local school board.

She has been the kind of tireless volunteer and promoter that school districts can be hard- pressed to find. She's served as president of every Parent/Teacher Community Organization

Patti Allen has spent a good chunk of her life as a staunch supporter and defender of public education.

That was her first mistake.

All those Democrats and NEA types who are upset about this probably didn't notice the subtle pro-dope pitch right out of George Sorros' playbook.

That's the part where the coca erradication program is referred to as "dropping bombs on farmer's fields" thing.

Remember, teachers and their friends are too stupid to tell the difference between narcotics and aspirins.

Hey, the Libertarian dopers who post on FR missed that too! Whadda' ya' know.

That's because it's not about the school- that's just the sound-good con used. It's about the little clique of tax-paid bums who have their sinecures there. They couldn't care less about the parents, students, or taxpayers as long as they can continue getting those checks and promoting their agenda.

Mom's finding out she was used as a sucker.

The kid got a chance to hear both sides and he's republican. That's exactly what they're afraid of. I hope this doesn't end up making his life miserable, the adults just need to butt out.

Even though all three of her sons turned out to be Republicans, Patti Allen said her children have been exposed to various political viewpoints during impassioned dinner table discussions.

When given BOTH sides, I'll bet you would find 60-70% of all people would swing this way. The problem is getting them to HEAR BOTH SIDES!

Most on this site would agree with that statement.

On 03/02 ... HERE

I stated ... "Sean Allen will find life on campus a bit more quiet, as there will be no one to talk with, unless of course, he walks around stark naked."

There are no surprises here. The leftists and their fool lackey's will paint this kid as a Judas.

Shame.

Did I hear him say "cocoa" when he meant "coca" - a purposeful mispronounciation?

some friends who were at the family's home for Sean's 16th birthday party have turned against him."

Not friends. Mom better stand up and realize that what her son did was right. And she might do well to move to the right. Do gooder that she sounds like got her and hers disdain.

"The teacher, Jay Bennish, is on paid leave pending the outcome of an investigation into whether he violated a district policy requiring balanced viewpoints be presented in class."

If the school district doesn't take action against rectal replica, Bennish, he will only be emboldened. The district needs to leave no doubt in any teacher's mind that they are to stick to the subject period!

And balanced viewpoint be damned. When teaching or discussing any subject, try speaking the truth.

Yeah, you heard him misidentify the herb that interests him ~ probably because he's run into trouble with that part of his druggy rant with someone else before.

That way he can say he was "misinformed" about which plant he thought was being hit with herbicides.

Guy's got more lies than that going in his stories, but I think the drug part is much more important than folks are crediting.

His dad wants him to transfer to another school. His mom doesn't, even though some friends who were at the family's home for Sean's 16th birthday party have turned against him.

What passes for "friends" now days is sickening!

Yes, he did pronounce it wrong, probably with the intent of misleading these kids into thinking our government is out bombing the poor farmers who produce their hot chocolate.

"turned out to be Republicans" is the MSM way of saying they're "colored" like in the old newspapers. Its a subtle smear right there of the student and his siblings. This kid is a hero. He deserves any kind of support we can give him. The teacher is as protected by union rules as any teacher (Ward Churchill comes to mind) so he's taken care of no mattter what they do to him (which is probably nothing). That's the part that makes me angry.

"Corey Kropp is heckled Thursday as he yells "Teach, don't preach" outside Overland High School. Students exchanged views about teacher Jay Bennish, who has been suspended for a wide-ranging lecture that compared President Bush to Adolf Hitler. Bennish's attorney is threatening to file a lawsuit."

Looks like he won't be alone after all.
