Medved is discussing this disgusting teacher right now. I drove by the highschool and, I'm not too good at estimating, but I'd say there were 75--100 kids on Peoria street outside of Overland HS ditching class. Saw some signs but couldn't read them. I shouted "get back in class" but realized that was sort of stupid since they probably aren't paying attention anyway and the ones that are are being indoctrinated. So coming back, we were on their side of the road and I caught the message of one sign "Honk if you like free speech" as if spouting off communist propaganda to a captive audience you're supposed to be teaching geography is free speech, but what you do you expect from impressionable idiots enjoying a sunny day out of class. I gave the crowd the thumbs down sign. I think the young man that taped this teacher, will be on Sean Hannity's show sometime today.

The part I heard was him ranting about how capitalism destroys humanity.
No economic system in the history of civilization has done more to improve the living conditions of the people on the "lowest rungs" than capitalism. But the fact that the people on the "upper rungs" also benefit greatly really sticks in the craw of leftists.
Their rage comes not from some misguided sense of injustice. It comes simply from their own envy and greed.
Of course, but someone instigated the walkout. I'd like to see if the local newsguys can find out who it was. Wouldn't that be interesting to know?

I wondered if this was near you. Guess you answered that question. So only 100 or so skipped class? I thought the whole 2000 walked out the way the news makes it sound.
The real scandal is that he felt free to turn his classroom into a daily Communist indoctrination session - and it took a student, not a school employee/fellow teacher/administrator, to put a stop to it.
Yes, just like that teacher at that Boulder High School. This country needs a revolution with our education system. I don't know what it's going take though.
Now we see what passes for "education" in our public "education" system - and why Johnny can't read, write, or feed himself without government assistance.
The father tried to get the school to check into it..they didn't so he went the Mike Rosen..a consertative talk host here in Denver and he got the job done....can you fire the teacher..no..but then again whay was he HIRED....we are killing ourselves..dumbing down..we deserve it if we vote them in

It will take parents getting tough on schools regarding this kind of talk being put into classrooms. Ultimately it will take the dismantling of the NEA to put education where it should be.
