ALERT FROM JEWS FOR THE PRESERVATION OF FIREARMS OWNERSHIP America's Aggressive Civil Rights Organization

February 28, 2006

JPFO ALERT: WE WARNED YOU

In our past alerts concerning the BATFE Congressional hearings ( http://www.jpfo.org/alert20060213.htm ), we told you to keep your eyes open and watch for betrayal. Pay attention to who defends or justifies the actions of the BATFE. Look for "compromises" that only compromise YOUR rights.

Not surprisingly, we were right to be concerned.

The hearings, originally scheduled for 2pm EST today, were quietly rescheduled to 2:30pm. Additionally, the webcast was dropped, although as of this writing, the link to it is still on the Judiciary web site ( http://judiciary.house.gov/schedule.aspx ). Callers to the Judiciary received the explanation that the hearing was "...scheduled in a room that did not have webcast equipment."

[We were also reassured that "...the Chairman supports the Second Amendment." Of course, so does Charles Schumer ( http://www.jpfo.org/2nd-setup.htm ). The real question is, "How MUCH does the Chairman support it?"]

Although the Judiciary promises that the written testimony will be on the site ( http://judiciary.house.gov/oversight.aspx?ID=216 ) by 5pm EST today, we will have no accurate record of what actually transpired. The testimony, after all, was submitted earlier and does not necessarily reflect the actual testimony. It also does not cover the question and answer period following the testimony.

Due to this "mishap", we have successfully been prevented from seeing and hearing our government justify actions which cannot ethically BE justified (it should be fascinating to see if any alleged "pro-gun" groups try to tell us what great friends we have in Congress!).

It's time to "Boot the BATFE," as well as anyone who would dare defend this rogue agency. Go to www.jpfo.org/bootbatfe.htm for more information.

I received this email from a Sheriff friend this morning.
"GUNS IN AUSTRALIA

Here's a thought to warm your hearts... From Ed Chenel, a police officer in Australia.

Hi Yanks and Canadians - I thought you all would like to see the real figures from Down Under. It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by a new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by our own government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500 million dollars.

The first year results are now in: Australia-wide, homicides are up 3.2 percent, Australia-wide, assaults are up 8.6 percent; Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)! In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300 percent.

(Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals did not and criminals still possess their guns!)

While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady decrease in armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically upward in the past 12 months, since the criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is unarmed.

There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults of the elderly.

Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety has decreased, after such monumental effort and expense was expended in successfully ridding Australian society of guns." You won't see this on the American /Canadian evening news or hear your government or members of the State Assembly amd Ottawa parliament disseminating this information.

The Australian experience proves it. Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws affect only the law-abiding citizens. Take note Americans and Canadians before it's too late! "

This is the first I've heard of this. I guess in order for the utopian N. American 'community' to work, they'll have to round up all the weapons. Come on with your bad selves!

Hmmm, yeah that's a tough one. Let's see ..... guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens down, and the crime rate up. Hmmmm........Ha, got it! That must mean that violent criminals didn't turn in their guns and were probably encouraged by the fact that fewer of their intended victims were armed!

Maybe one day I'll do an encore and explain to them why koalas shit in the woods.

"I had no idea that slimey Schumer had anything at all to do with this. We don't need enemies with him in there".

You can always bet that Shmuckie will show up, the buttplug is truly phobic about RKBA. Did you really ever believe he is a friend? Our problem seems to be a lack of dedicated allies, our politicians are wishy washy, their politicians are dedicated, it doesn't matter that they are insane.
Where are our warriors who will fight to the end, for Constitutional principles? Could it be that they are assessing their political futures, and their bank accounts, and principles are only something for losers?
I don't worry which way the wind is blowing, but, I'm not a politician.

"Republican led Senate and House"?

Yeah, right.

Take the pledge: buy guns and sell none! 2006 and 2008 are going to be a rough ride and could end with the Shrillabeast naming a new BATFE director. With a name like Himmler or something.
