What's in the back of your pickup? Since last summer, I've been riding around with an old water ski, a set of snow chains (not fitting the truck I'm driving), an old life vest, and a fire extinguisher that I tried (and failed) three times to sell in a garage sale.
I can't even find anyone to *steal* this stuff from the back of my pickup!

When I lived in Alaska I kept a couple bags of charcoal, box of rations, extra 5 gallon can of gasoline, blankets, change of clothes, dry socks boots and gloves, ratchet hoist, small tent, flashlight, chain saw, fishing gear extra ammo for my 30.06, 12 gage and 44 I kept in the cab.
No alcohol as it is too dangerous at low temperatures.

A rear wheel drive Ranger is a pain in Fargo's six month winter.
I'm curious, because I live in the south California desert. I'd think front wheel drive (like we have on both our cars) would be worse on ice in the event of loss of traction...am I right, or is my thinking flawed?

Actually, we were deep sea diving.
