Hamas shows extent of its 'moderation' New charter reportedly in the works, but it still calls for Israel's demise

The international community is about to get what it is asking for – a moderation of Hamas' current positions, though the changes will not make Israel and its true allies very happy.

The Jerusalem Post has learned that the terrorists will mark their rise to power by presenting a new charter, minus the many anti-Semitic diatribes present in the current charter, but which continues to call for the elimination of the Jewish state as a sovereign entity.

The document also allows for a long-term ceasefire with the State of Israel until such time as the Arabs are strong and numerous enough to end its existence, said Dr. Azzam Tamimi of the Institute of Islamic Political Thought in London, who has been advising Hamas on the content of the new charter.

Hamas is looking to highlight that it does not hate Jews, and is more than willing to let them once again enjoy life as second-class citizens, or dhimmi, under Muslim rule, indicated Tamimi.

But the group cannot, in accordance with its faith in the Koran, accept Jewish sovereignty over lands that were once under the thumb of Islam.

Their time is coming. One cannot "negotiate" with sub-humans.

I am sure the UN is fine with it.

Sub human is not the issue. History records plenty of instances of some pretty nasty humans.

What is the issue is that from the very start, with old Mo himself, they have a centuries long history of treachery, of truces, which like communist ones, are only for the purpose of building their own strength. Sometimes they are said to be "long tern" when in reality the glove is already coming off the iron fist.

Of course they also tend to "scream and leap" before they are militarily ready. I think both the Kzin of Larry Niven, and the Klingons of Star Trek are in some sense patterned after the Muslims.

That depends on how fast they are killed off. Malthus is alive and well, and war is one of the population limiters. One of the four horsemen.

The Mooses seem to have a, well, puritanical view of abortion. Who woulda thought that such old fashioned mores would come in handy in a population war.

Demons don't die, but they can be bound.
