DEMS UNVEIL '08 MESSAGE: 'YOU'RE FAT!'
Tue Feb 14 2006 08:28:55 ET
**Exclusive**
THE DRUDGE REPORT has obtained an email sent Monday evening by Democratic National Committee (DNC) research director Devorah Adler that contains ten opposition research packets on potential 2008 GOP presidential contenders.
In one packet titled Newt Gingrich: 08 Watch February 2006 a picture of the former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich (R-GA) appears with --- him holding two full plates of food!
The quote underneath the Gingrich photo reads In His Own Words: Gingrichs Solution To Childhood Obesity: Turn off the TV, cut the fatty diet and get exercise. [AP, 2/8/06]
The ten Republicans picked by the Democrat Party include: Sen. George Allen (R-VA), Sen. Sam Brownback (R-KS), Sen. Bill Frist (R-TN), Gingrich, Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R-NY), Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-NE), Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-AR), Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), Gov. George Pataki (R-NY) and Gov. Mitt Romney (R-MA).
One Republican strategist who had seen the opposition research packets said: 'We should expect nothing less than name-calling and referring to ones political opponents as fat from Howard Deans Democrat Party.'
Developing...
Hmmmmm.... Ted Kennedy has been called many many things, but 'skinny' was never one of them!
Well, he is fat. Does anyone think Newt isn't fat? More to the point: Does anyone truly think Newt can be elected?
I wonder what the DNC will do with their favorite mouthpiece ...
Michael Moore.
IIRC, Rich Lowry wrote a piece in NRO a while back in which he pointed out that the revered Head Start program loaded all of the daily calories (in excess of 2k) in the government funded breakfast, so that would automatically make a problem as the lunches are also subsidized and then the family will likely have dinner.
Too bad that Billy Klintoon did not take this healthy advice. Cheeseburgers, french fries and doughnuts, were the Presidential diet...oh, how the hypocrisy in these fools never goes away.
I don't know if he can be elected, but I'd vote for him.
I might be fat but liberals are stupid.
I can go on a diet and exercise and grow skinny.
But liberals will still be stupid.
Oh forget it!
Just make sure they continue to get their message out.
Yes, and if that is all the dem's have - bring it on.
New low for the lame dems --
If Dems had courage, they could have "the courage of their convictions", if they had convictions.
LMAO! That reminds me of the Phil Hartman on Saturday Night Live playing Clinton on a campaign stop at McDonald's. He keeps eating right off of people's trays.
The secret service guy says he won't tell Mrs. Clinton. Cliton says, "Look, there are going to be A LOT of things we don't tell Mrs. Clinton."
The one plate looks like it is all fruit.
Huh? Are the Democrats disputing this?

Is Newt fat? He looks like he could lose a few pounds. Is he obese? No. It's especially funny coming from the party of Michael Moore, Ted Kennedy, etc.
I don't think anyone on that list can get nominated let alone elected. At least I hope that is the mindset of the conservative base.
Pathetic. For the part of irrelevance.
It is 2 plates of food, but the one on our right looks like sliced pineapple and honeydew melon with a couple strawberries thrown in.

Are we talking about Gingrich's food, or Dean's party?
Well I thought their '08 message would be the same as their '04 message. "We hate Bush."
Not that he is running in '08, but that shouldn't stop them from showning the astounding levels of intelliegence they have achieved.
