I don't want to see you driven crazy of course, but I'm actually glad it's happened, in a way. It's really sharpened the contrast between the West and the radical Islamic world, and given even the Europeans a glimpse of what we're up against.
This may be a stretch, but I was thinking the other day that the "Cartoon Wars" may serve to undercut the Dems' attempt to portray Bush as an even bigger threat to our liberties than Radical Islamic terrorists.

What IS true about everything you've said here and on Sean's thread is that a few idiot drawings have led to burning, death, and chaos...and airtime by all our hosts, when there are lots of other issues begging to be addressed. Like Wellstone II. Just ridiculous, however you think we should handle it...

am now convinced that this cartoon thing is all one big conspiracy to drive me personally crazy! It's working! The hypocrisy of the MSM is soooooooooo evident. Where is the ACLU wanting the cartoons run? What about freedom of speech.
One of the employees of the NY Sun that resigned stated plainly that the cartoons were not going to be run because the editor was afraid of being bombed...he just said it on FOX.
They are a bunch of partisan cowards and no one can deny it any longer! /rant
