YOU are the one who is forgetting why are troops are there in the first place. It is to defend freedom and to fight the forces of tyranny. NOT to defend Sharia Law and fight Western freedoms. Iraq is just one battlefield in the war against Islamofascism. We are ALL footsoldiers on the home front--the cultural battle to defend Judeo-Christian values against barbaric Islam. And in that war, like it or not, we are on the same side as the "euroweenies" you decry. By the way--are you aware that Denmark is on our side in Iraq, and have troops on the ground? Pretty insulting to call them "weenies", in my opinion.
In a sense samtheman is right. The official government-speak has to be careful .. even the Danish government made semi-conciliatory noises.
This is the people's fight, more specifically the press. Every free-speech supporting newspaper should print these cartoons.
They also should expose the cartoons that the inflammatory imam included in his materials that were provided by fellow Moslems, not the Danish newspapers.
