The Liberal Nightmare Begins (LOL! ROTFLMAO!!!)
NewsMax.com ^ | 1 February 2006 | Philip V. Brennan

Posted on 01/31/2006 4:45:23 PM PST by Aussie Dasher

It was their worst nightmare coming true - the U.S. Senate has voted to put a conservative jurist on the Supreme Court, replacing a woman who they could depend on in a pinch to vote their way a lot of the time. And the left, which dominates the Democrat party, knows that the nightmare is just beginning.

President Bush has three more years left in his term as the nation's chief executive and he most probably will have an opportunity to name at least one more justice to the high court. And when he does, you can bet he'll nominate another conservative.

That's what he promised he'd do and he has now kept that promise twice by nominating rock-solid conservative jurists to serve on the Supreme Court.

More than anything else this is what the radical left feared most. Deprived of control of the White House and the House and Senate, their only hold on power was the control of the Supreme Court by a radical leftist majority who could be counted on to uphold the alleged right of judges to legislate from the bench.

Only in this way could they manage to put into law the kind of secular, anti-religious socialist measures the voters would never allow their legislators to impose on them.

I really think we ought to be grateful to Kerry for bringing on his 'flopabuster'. It should a lot of Americans what kind of hopeless fools play such a major role in the Democrat Party.

What they are doing is close enought to that.

HELLARY is bringing a guest. An ANTI BUSH protester from 9/11.

She lost some lovedones. Well guess what. SO DID I. And I have lost others close to me in the war on terror.

If that lady screams out, and then claims its for the honor of those who died at the hands of terrorism, I'm gonna be ticked.

Find the most qualified black or hispanic female nominee and let's watch the fireworks all over again. I hope Fat Teddy is still alive. He'll stroke out on the Senate floor for sure twisting over an appointment like that. ;)

Three more years. I'm glad for that. Still plenty-o-time to close the border and build that big ol' fence!

No, we can't bet on it. Remember Harriet Miers?

There are now four conservatives on the Court: Scalia, Thomas, Roberts and Alito. There are two liberals: Kennedy and Souter. There are three ultra-left wing liberals: Stevens, Ginsburg and Breyer.

We need to replace at least one of the liberals.

Harriet Miers might have been a conservative. The problem was that there was no way to know.
