Frankly, I think she looks very nice.

"Five months earlier, Miss Dinoire's features were destroyed when her labrador savaged her while she was unconscious after a drug overdose."I hate it when that happens...

Algore and John Faker Kerry could actually donate one of their spare faces they're not using at the moment.

I'm remembering some weird scifi story about a hand transplant from a very evil person. The hand takes over the recipient's life and eventually starts killing people. How totally creepy to have the face of someone who killed herself. And she was passed out from a drug overdose and now she chain smokes? There's a lot of what the hippys would call bad karma there.

The surgeon is a real pro, that's clear.

I wish her the best of luck. She's been through enough hell.

Well---maybe the surgeons learned a lot that will be helpful when a more worthy person needs a new face.
Gotta look for something positive in this story--LOL!

Frankly, I think she looks very nice. Well, the whole thrust of the story is the comparison of her before and after appearance.
Not providing a "before" picture makes the story incomplete.
No, I do not mean after the dog attack...
To: billorites
Yes, she does look fine, but I'm surprised the medical community deemed her worthy of a transplant. She attempted suicide, is a druggie, and chain smokes. Those are some immense red flags.

Well, it is an experimental procedure.

I hope this works. Any pictures of her with her original face?

I did a Google image search- and I can't say for sure- but it looks as if only the face from the nose down (inclusive) was replaced.
I wish her well. That's got to be tough.

The operation has left her new mouth looking somewhat loose. . . . she still looks gaunt, with her fashionable jeans hanging off her slight frame. Loose lips shrink hips.

Prayers for this woman. She was brave to try this chance to get a normal life back.
Those who complain ought to have walked in her shoes.

We can rebuild her.

Not bad, I agree. Got some problems with the whole labrador savaging me after my drug over dose thing, that I gotta say.

Reasonable outcome.
I have two male labs and whenever I OD I make sure I'm face down before I hit the floor.
