A footnote of import here is that Democratic (CA) Senator Dianne Feinstein refers to the CWA (Concerned Women of America) organization as "rightwing, hate group" element and I believe I recall reading that she has also referred to them as "bigots". That was the eye opener to me as to Feinstein's mental (and spiritual) state.
