Documentary Celebrates Reagans Life And Presidency 25 Years After First Inauguration
Washington, DC The Republican National Committee celebrated the 25th anniversary of President Ronald Reagans Inauguration today by releasing a special tribute documentary. The documentary was presented to RNC members at the RNC Winter Meeting held in Washington D.C. and is available for viewing at www.gop.com
President Reagan inspired me and many others to become a part of the Republican Party, said RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman. His faith, and optimism for the future of the country, restored the confidence of Americans who responded by making our country and the world a better place. This documentary is a small tribute to a man who inspired so many.
The video features appearances by former officials of the Reagan White House and Reagan associates as well as video clips and pictures of Ronald Reagan during his time as President. Former White House officials and Reagan associates appearing in the video are: James Baker, Morton Blackwell, Michael Deaver, Elizabeth Dole, Ken Duberstein, Robert Kabel, former Senator Paul Laxalt, Edwin Meese, and Colin Powell.
Quit living in the past. Lower my taxes and fire one out of every 4 government workers. Then you get my donations again.
I wish the GOP would follow his example a little more closely.
The best Reagan tribute would be to start acting like the party of Reagan again and not FDR.
