Well, you don’t really need to even bother commenting on the UN, their stance is clear. I find the map below to be a little more complete in offering some understanding in the Middle East. Who is really a danger to whom?

On November 29, 2005 I took a photograph of a map on display at a major meeting at UN Headquarters in New York, which omitted the UN member state of Israel. The map was perched on a frame at the front of the room with a flag of the United Nations on one side, and a Palestinian flag on the other. The occasion was the annual UN Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
How did it get there? Who was responsible? Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had been calling for Israel to be wiped off the map, and the UN had literally-speaking already done so. American UN Ambassador John Bolton was properly concerned and wanted some answers. He wrote to Secretary-General Kofi Annan on January 3, 2006 posing three questions: "First, who is the highest level official within the Secretariat who approved the use of the map for the event? Second, does the United Nations intend to use the map in future U.N. sponsored functions and events? Third, in light of prohibitions under U.S. law to fund events such as this one, do you consider it appropriate for the United Nations to advertise and promote the event on its general website and other venues, which do in fact benefit from U.S. funds?"
By letter dated January 16, 2006 the UN responded. In an obvious slight to any American Ambassador, and straining to duck responsibility for the event and the response, Secretary-General Kofi Annan refused to write back directly. The letter was signed by Ibrahim Gambari, Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs.

Well it is most appropriate that any listing of the UN or UN offices in any NY City Directory of any kind phone, etc. be omiited. Because at some time in the past they were not there.
Kofi thinks of course that Israel shouldn't even BE there.
That's because Kofi's from Ghana, one of the green countries on the map that can't seem to stop blaming the little red blip for everything wrong in the world.
You mean the Ghana that was carved out of the Gold Coast in 1957?
I wonder if Kofi has any "historical" maps of Africa.

A minor point, but Sri Lanka is 70% Buddhist and only 8% Muslim. It shouldn't be green on that map.
PS. And the Philippines are 93% Christian; merely 5% Muslim.
PPS. Armenia too: 99% Christian. And Albania/Bosnia should be green. OK, I'm done nitpicking!

Early years and family
Annan was born to Henry Reginald and Victoria Annan in the Kofandros section of Kumasi, Ghana. As with most Akan names, his name indicates the day of the week he was born and place in his family: Kofi indicates a boy born on a Friday, and Annan denotes that he was the fourth child of his family. Annan was a twin, an occurrence that is regarded as special in Ghanaian culture; his twin sister Efua Atta died in 1991. Atta means twin in Fante.
Annan's family was part of the country's elite; both of his grandfathers and his uncle were tribal chiefs. His father was half Asante and half Fante; his mother was Fante. Annan's father worked for a long period as an export manager for the Lever Brothers cocoa company.
Annan is married to Nane Maria Annan, a Swedish lawyer and artist who is the half-niece of Raoul Wallenberg. Of their three children, Kojo Annan and Ama Annan are from Kofi Annan's previous marriage with Titi Alakija. They divorced in the late 1970s. Their third child, Nina Cronstedt de Groot, is from a previous marriage of Nane Annan. Kojo Annan was in the headlines in 2005 because of his involvement in the Oil for Food program scandal.
Let the map of NYC show no UN building.
Let the UN flag be the design upon each sheet of the officially approved US toilet paper.
