we have the power and political will to fight for the things we value most and for the candidates who embody those values

Ah, yes. The killing of the unborn.

Such a value!

Serious question: isn't there a tradition of senatorial comity pursuant to which senators generally refrain from making personal attacks on their colleagues?

Kinda like Ex presidents not bashing the current administration either here, or abroad?

That ended with X42

You made my day.

Kerry is a nut case. And it'd be a great Republican ad to compare sKerry to Captain Queeg.

BTW- Skerrys first C.O. (when he became attached to the
swift boats) is still alive- ask him if he EVER approved
of Skerrys medals.-Better yet, want to know about Skerry

And they will set you straight on this lying POS.

Kerry's letter is a desparate, repugnant plea to the 6 people that still support him. Most people with 2 brain cells to click together can see through his hype and whine. They are on the run. They know it and they know we know it.

I love the smell of toasted Dems in the morning!

Pretty much everything this windbag says when he opens his mouth is a complete joke. Given his incessent flip-flopping and love of Specter, I agree with the Santorum is "mindless" remark, but everything else is crap. Dems had a chance to beat Bush, but they nominated one of the worst Presidential candidates in history. It's bad enough that he's a Mass. liberal, on top of that he has terrible speaking skills and can't connect with anyone.

Can't wait to see him try and run again in 2008 and fall flat on his face.

Not when you are desperate to take back the Senate and as mad as a viper for blowing the last election. Put ice on it John-boy.

When Bob Dole lost the election he got an offer from Viagra to do commercials. Seems like the makers of the various anti-depression drugs are missing a real opportunity here.

"This past November, our 3 million citizen volunteers helped spearhead Get Out The Vote efforts in critical Democratic victories across the nation ...

...And, amazingly, almost half of the 3 million were living at the time of the election, a fair percentage of them were American citizens and some were even registered to vote!"

Kerry missed the presidency by one state, and he was woefully undeserving of that office. The point is that if democrats have that much brass when they are wrong, I would like to see republicans have half that much when they are in the right.

Point understood, however, there is a difference between bashing someone over the head with the truth versus serving it up in a nice glass of wine. The Dems have the former method down pat (although certainly not with the truth) and we need to be the "nice" guys. The Dems get away with being "bad boys" because of the press. We don't.
