"You know as I think about this I come to a couple of conclusions. Either God is definitely looking out for President Bush because everytime the Democrats lift their voices in opposition against the president and America, Osama comes out with a tape that only unites most of this country behind the president. Or it is all a big coincidence that when the Democrats feel that they are getting the upper hand in the press with their stupid remarks they are slapped down by an Osama tape."

Personally, I believe the left's comments and MSM commentary gives OBL strength. When he feels strong, he thinks he can kick the President while he is down and divide this country. Then he speaks out.

The swimmer, murtha, sheehan, etc. of this country, give him all the strength he needs to dig a deeper grave. They are just to stupid to know what they are doing.

I haven't been to the DU/Kos boards. Have they somehow blamed this on a master Roveian plot yet?

The name comes from the Latin dies solis, meaning "sun's day": the name of a pagan Roman holiday. It is also called Dominica (Latin), the Day of God. The Romance languages, languages derived from the ancient Latin language (such as French, Spanish, and Italian), retain the root.

French: dimanche; Italian: domenica; Spanish: domingo
German: Sonntag; Dutch: zondag. [both: 'sun-day']

Monday
The name comes from the Anglo-Saxon monandaeg, "the moon's day". This second day was sacred to the goddess of the moon.

French: lundi; Italian: lunedi. Spanish: lunes. [from Luna, "Moon"]
German: Montag; Dutch: maandag. [both: 'moon-day']

Tuesday
This day was named after the Norse god Tyr. The Romans named this day after their war-god Mars: dies Martis.

French: mardi; Italian: martedi; Spanish: martes.
The Germans call Dienstag (meaning "Assembly Day"), in The Netherlands it is known as dinsdag, in Danmark as tirsdag and in Sweden tisdag.

The Romans called it dies Mercurii, after their god Mercury.

French: mercredi; Italian: mercoledi; Spanish: miércoles.

German: Donnerstag; Dutch: donderdag.

French: vendredi; Italian: venerdi; Spanish: viernes.
German: Freitag ; Dutch: vrijdag.

Saturday
This day was called dies Saturni, "Saturn's Day", by the ancient Romans in honor of Saturn. In Anglo-Saxon: sater daeg.

French: samedi; Italian: sabato; Spanish: sábádo.
German: Samstag; Dutch: zaterdag.
Swedish: Lördag; and in Danish and Norse: Lørdag ("washing day").

" Again Osama repeats Democrat talking points. Or is it the other way around? "

Remember the old " Is it Live or Memorex ? " commercials ?
If the RNC had a pair, they would run " Who said this ?- Osama or the Democrats ? " commercials.
The side by side comparisons should dispel any myths that the Democrats support the WOT and bluntly illustrate how the Democrats speak in unison with Osama.
DeathtoAmericrats is a more appropriate title for the braying donkeys.

I noticed it and I'm angry. These people are just as dangerous to America as the terrorists. They need to go.

The truce offer was likely the code to indicate the "green light" for US sleepers to prepare operations to begin... IMHO

You are probably correct, but either way it works in "our" favor.

Methinks Dean called Al Jazeera and told them to air any previously unknown Bin Laden tapes today because of the Barrett Report. A truce? Sounds familiar...

Osama offers truce.

In other news, a new Zogby poll shows the Democratic Party morale slipping sharply.

I have this creeping feeling that a big attack may be coming soon and bin laden may be covering his spiritual A$$ with his Mullahs and also allowing room for justification. I remember reading a while back that if a Muslim offers peace or a truce and it is not accepted than the killing of inncocents is more allowable...some BS like that from the Koran.....Perhaps I'm being paranoid but it is a scenerio that popped into my mind as I was reading about the tape...

The Italian arrests a bit ago talked about targets and one was stadiums...why the hell to I have a nasty feeling about the Superbowl (can you say Middle east parking lot!) Sorry to sound alarmist...I don't usually listen to the little voices in my head! This has been bugging me for a few days now!

We cannot show weakness at this time!!!!!

Remember This? It was 1987! Lt.Col. Oliver North testifying at the Iran-Contra hearings during the Reagan Administration. There was Ollie in front of God and country getting the third degree, but what he said was stunning! He was being drilled by a senator; "Did you not recently spend close to $60,000 for a home security system?" Ollie replied, "Yes, I did, Sir." The senator continued, trying to get a laugh out of the audience, "Isn't that just a little excessive?" "No, sir," continued Ollie. "No? And why not?" the senator asked. "Because the lives of my family and I were threatened, sir." "Threatened? By whom?" the senator questioned. "By a terrorist, sir" Ollie ans! wered. "Terrorist? What terrorist could possibly scare you that much?" "His name is Osama bin Laden, sir" Ollie replied. At this point the senator tried to repeat the name, but couldn't pronounce it, which most people back then probably couldn't. A couple of people laughed at the attempt. Then the senator continued. Why are you so afraid of this man?" the senator asked. "Because, sir, he is the most evil person alive that I know of", Ollie answered. "And what do you recommend we do about him?" asked the senator. "Well, sir, if it was up to me, I would recommend that an assassin team be formed to eliminate him and his men from the face of the earth." The senator disagreed with this approach, and that was all that was shown of the clip. By the way, that senator was Al Gore!

FROM A DU BOARD:

4. Alternatively, if you believe OBL to be largely a fiction, than why would you support a truce with a fiction? Or, to put it another way, if OBL is under Rove's thumb, than this truce comes from Karl Rove. So wouldn't that make you suspicious of it at the outset? The point is moot, in that case anyway. If OBL is our puppet it's clear that the point of this little drama is to let Cheney or Bush say "we do not negotiate with terrorists about a million times.

XXXXX

the superbowl is locked down so tight, they can't touch it.

what would be more likely is a soft target attack on super bowl sunday, someplace else in the US, forcing the media to shift public attention to a terror attack during the middle of the largest single media event in the US.
