Protestors Target Weekly Meeting of Conservative Activists (DC FREEPERS ALERT)

(CNSNews.com) - Liberal activists plan to protest "Republican corruption" on Wednesday outside the offices of Americans for Tax Reform, where conservative leaders and activists gather weekly -- "to discuss their next moves," protest organizers said.

The "Stop Corruption First" protest is intended to draw media attention to the "close connection" between congressional Republicans and the "business lobbyists who are funding their operations," a press release said.

"The plan is to show up, peacefully conduct a protest with signs, and disperse after a half hour or so," said MoveOn.org Political Action, which is co-sponsoring the protest with the Campaign for America's Future and Public Campaign Action Fund.

"We're inviting the media and expect the protest to be widely reported on by the press." MoveOn.org Political Action said it would provide the protest signs.

Grover Norquist, the head of Americans for Tax Reform, "is at the center of the Republican power machine in Washington and has been implicated in the corruption scandals" of lobbyist Jack Abramoff, MoveOn.org said.

Norquist was instrumental in forming the K Street Project, a successful effort to expand the number of Republican lobbyists operating in Washington - and attempting to influence legislation, which is legal if bribery isn't involved.

Norquist, a longtime friend of Abramoff's, has not been charged with any wrongdoing, and he has denied allegations of influence peddling. He has become a prime target for Democrats eager to undermine conservative influence in Washington.

Too bad the Media's too busy trying to stick it to Republicans to investigate the revolving door between hard-left lobbyists and the Democrats in Congress. Oh wait, I don't NEED the Media to point that out to me. I have Al Gore's Invention to do the hard-hitting investigation that the media won't do.

How unsurprising - they are once again going to crash the Wednesday meeting...

A meeting of groups called the LEAVE-US-ALONE-CLUB.

Of course, that's why the meetings are necessary, to find ways to FORCE the left to leave Americans alone!

Yes, PAY NO ATTENTION to that man behind the curtain. Pay no attention to our lunacy, its Republican corruption that matters. Shut down your minds and listen to the soothing sounds of Keith Foureyes and Chrisssy Matthews. Pay no attention to the millions WE receive from George Soros and Moron.org. Pay no attention to the fact that we are on the wrong side of almost every issue such as gay marriage, partial birth abortion, tax reform/lowering taxes, national security (terrorisit bill of rights, funding the military), homeland security, etc. Pay even less attention to our constant nutjob assertions such as Iraq is an American defeat, Bush is a terrorist, Saddam is an innocent man and that we deserved what we got on 9/11. ALL THAT MATTERS IS REPUBLICAN CORRUPTION (and we have the AP-Ipsos poll to prove it!!!)

I'd love to be outside carrying a sign that says
CHRONICALLY UNEMPLOYED with an arrow pointing toward them. Or
WILL PROTEST FOR $$$.
Or
FEED THE MONKEYS.

Funny how they only care about corruption when it's republican. If I ever make a dictionary this is going down in the definition of hypocrisy. Moveon gets it very name from the desire of its makers to ignore Clinton corruption and MOVE ON.

Attempting to influence is legal! Who knew?

People from an organization paid for by Soros are going to protest corruption? What a delicious irony.

Isn't there some way we can revoke this creep'snaturalization and send him back to Hungary?
