Combination of long, cold winters, steadily increasing, with no end in sight property taxes and RINO's, Sanders, Leahy and Jeffords (he hadn't announced he was leaving at the time)

The thought occurred to me, that if the judge was declared 'Non Compis Mentis', his ruling in the case of the child rapist could be thrown out, and be retried in front of a sane judge.

Is this judge appointed? How did he get where he is? I doubt the governor can remove him. Perhaps with enough pressure from an outraged public, Cashman will just quit.

Nancy Grace was also on this case last night. She was furious with the verdict. I dont watch Nancy too often and I find her grating. But she seems to be on the side of victims' rights most of the time.

You see Bill O'R screaming at the defense attorney on his show who thought the judge did the right thing? Bill was furious, and rightly so.

Has anybody in Vermont contacted Senators Leahey & Jeffords & Congressman Bernie Sanders?

I realize that this is a State Matter but these top officials from this state should also be held accountable for the silence & failure to act on this matter.

He looks like a child molester. I say that because I think he is sympathetic to child molesters and this is why he made this assinine ruling.

Vermont = nuttiest state in the country.
Ask anyone from VT, the guy is young, 37, and he has to be let out while he's still really young so he can molest, rape and grope many more children.

What do the freepers want? To take away the guy's right to rape kids?

Florida offered lower property tax, no income tax and a warm climate. Prior to moving here it had been many years since a hurricane passed close to where we are. Luckily we've been spared, but it was close

We bought a comparable house in Fl for what we had in VT, for less money, and it has almost doubled in value in less than 3 years. Thanks to Florida's laws, the taxes can only be raised a small percentage a year, unlike Vermont where anything goes.

Politicians weren't a deciding factor, but it IS nice not being in the minority ;-}

Does anyone notice that the people FOR this monster of a human being to be released and blocking the moron judge's impeachment are democrats and the people calling for his robe are Republicans?

I only hope the people of Vermont notice. I also notice the one who agreed used the word PROGRESSIVE. I almost barfed.

That I don't know, I live in Tennessee and am no more familiar with him than the majority of US citizens. There are many on the bench that feel that punishment doesn't work. Treatment I've learned is over sold, child molesters can't be fixed. A few years ago Robert James Bidinotto wrote several exposes for Reader's Digest on crime and one of his articles had quotes by several outstanding researchers, crime experts and jurist to that effect.

Bill O is right, lock them up, throw away the keys on first offense.

They will tell you it is a state matter and they can't get involved for constitutional reasons. That is what I got from AlBORE when we were fighting parole hearings here in Tennessee to keep our son's killer in prison.

I've known for over 15 years that the RATS are the party who are lenient on crime and criminals. They favor aborting the innocent and saving the lives of convicted killers, they don't want tough laws for sentencing any criminal...except for PC crimes like littering, or cutting down a tree then they want to throw the book at you.

THat is until they are the victims of crime. Then they holler and scream for tougher laws.

The "judge" looks like a child molestor himself.

I'm not one to generally judge a book by it's cover - but if I were - I would agree with you completely.

And considering his lighthearted approach to handling child rapist pedophiles, I would further lean towards thinking he at least has sympathetic feelings towards pedophiles....

Hey, at least he's no hypocrite! He's just a pervert who doesn't care whose life gets destroyed. As long as he and his fellow perverts get their jollies.

Judge just made child rape a misdemeanor.

Open season on children in Vermont.

Democrats want the innocent to suffer and/or die and the guilty to be pitied and forgiven.
