The story began with a tragic case of sexual abuse and seemingly ended with a guilty plea in a Vermont courtroom. Thirty-seven-year old Mark Hulett pled guilty to aggravated sexual assault on his close friend's daughter. The attacks occured from the time she was six years old until she turned ten. In front of Judge Edward Cashman, prosecutor Nicole Andreson asked that Hulett be sentenced to 8-20 years in prison, but on January 4th, Judge Cashman surprised everyone there by sentencing him to only 60 days in jail and ordered him to complete sex offender treatment after his release. At the hearing, Cashman explained, "...[punishment] accomplishes nothing of value... and it costs us a lot of money." Hulett will be out in 2 months.
The Factor called Cashman's office on January 5th, but the Judge declined to speak to us. Bill O'Reilly sent me to Burlington, VT on Sunday morning to try to talk to him in person. My crew and I parked outside of his house at 6:30am and waited for him to wake up. A police car pulled up an hour later and approached our van. "What are you guys doing?" the cop asked. I explained that we were from Fox News and we were waiting for an interview. It was obvious the officer already knew we were there to see the judge. "Some of the neighbors called and said a suspicious van was parked outside so I came to check it out. Are you local or national Fox News?" I said we were national and the officer smiled and drove away.

The solution is simple:
IMPEACH!!!
Things like this is where Bill shines!
I've sent it out to the crime victims on my email list. They will also deal with it. My email went out a couple of hours ago.
I'm thrilled that this story has refused to go away.
The judge needs to find a new line of work.
One of numerous reasons I no longer live in Vermont ;-}
When is the great state of Vermont going to get serious about putting away child rapist and molesters?
My letter to the governor.
Are you going to continue to let judges like Judge Cashman who gave the (repeated) rapist of a SIX year old little girl just 60 DAYS to continue to sit on your benches?
Statistics show that these rapist rape and molest at least FIFTY or more little girls over the course of their criminal careers. If it were little boys it would be over 100 victims.
Protect the children of Vermont REMOVE Judge Cashman from the bench and REMOVE this criminal from society.
This child did NOT receive JUSTICE! Justice demands a sentence commiserate with the crime committed against the child NOT 60 days!
Mother of a MURDERED child, (in memory of Jeremy Peter Flachbart, forever 16)
Can anyone find out if this idiot was appointed by the current idiot savant head of the DNC when he was govr? (Hey I'm taking a break from working and delegating). Or, conversley, did the dembots residing in this worker's paradise so brain dead they elected him???
The "judge" looks like a child molestor himself.
The "judge" looks like a child molestor himself.
Did you move to Florida, like all former New Englanders seem to have?
O'Reilly said yesterday that the Governor of Vermont has gotten more emails on this than anything else ever, and in the history of the state of Vermont this has generated more email negative comments to the govt. of Vermont. Keep'em coming.
"Did you move to Florida, like all former New Englanders seem to have?"
Sure did! Wonderful place, full of Republicans, but it occasionally gets windy ;-}
That's what I thought. He sure doesn't look like a judge.
I can't find the link, because the web is now so full of this story, but, I was able to discern last week that there is no connection between the judge and HD.
Tell, the truth. :D...Was it the Hurricanes/Tornadoes (sp?) or the Many Politicians ('RAT, RINO, GOP :) in the state.
My very liberal friends and I wonder if this judge is a child molester himself. How else can one explain his decision?
