When you work for the NSA you except certain conditions, mainly that your work is important to national security and that it is highly classified and must not be disclosed.
He's violated his oath and therefore is a traitor and should be sent to jail.

I would wager that Tice is NOT Risen's primary source -- even though he claims to have met with the
Times.
Tice is "coming out" to give cover to the real leaker, who has a lot more to lose and wishes to remain in the shadows.
