At least he said this, which we can hold him to later if he changes his opinion again.
An audience member asked about the lack of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Powell said when he delivered a speech before the United Nations in February 2003, he was convinced by the intelligence reports of the CIA, Israel, Britain, Germany, Spain and others that Saddam Hussein had them.
"Either he got rid of them quickly or Saddam Hussein might have thought he had them,'' Powell said. "We don't know.''

But we do know he had stuff prior to the invasion. It has been so fragmented in reporting. MiG21's, buried in the sand, has no reason to have special outfitted spray nozzels on the wing tips. Why would atropine kits and hypodermic needles be laying in bunkers that stored various type ordnance. The 1.5 tons of highly enriched uranium found at the Tauwatha Salmon Pack area. Yogoslavian manufactured binary shells, with associated dual grey pipes with valves on them stored alongside normal French 155 artilery rounds etc., in bunkers. Many couple old Freeper posts that contained a lot of things that where being uncovered that showed they still where in the business of making WMD's. The terrorist camps, where some contain ricin producing plants etc.. He had the stuff. It was destroyed and moved, and buried. And many of the Qatar documents will eventually bring out details. I am convinced of it. A NOTE. The atropine kits and needles laying on a bunker floor our guys found would surely not just had been sitting there for some six years plus. The bunker was an active ordnance store. So crap was going on. As we are aware, atropine is used to negate the effects produced by VX nerve gas.
