Interesting to note my Freepmail on this. Amazing how some supposedly "Conservatives" Freepers are so desperate to make excuse for, or ignore, that the Democrats up to their eyeballs in this. The point, as some of you fail to grasp, is that Democrats are equally guilty of "Corruption" while lying daily to the American people about their part in this. This is NOT an excuse for Republicans. Republicans are NOT making excuses for those Republicans caught up in this. The purpose of the list is to show the Democrat Party's Culture of Hypocrisy. The Democrats are the ones running all over screaming "Corruption" Ok, so if it is "Corruption" why are they up to their eyeballs in it?????
"Yeah, I took money from the Mafia but it ONLY came from their legitimate business not from illegal drug sale profits" Sorry if the Democrats want to try and make that argument the American Voters will laugh them to scorn. IF money from Abramoff is "proof of corruption" his PERSONAL donation is NO different then his PAC donations.
Funny how it is the Republican Bush Justice Department that broke this wide open by going after and prosecuting Abramoff. Funny how all the people who want to make this a "Republican scandal" are so desperate to just skip right by that fact. Why is that?
Dude, I (as well as many other Freepers) use newsmeat.com all the time and there is ZERO doubt in my mind that the data they present is unbiased. You are way off base (and apparently your meds) with these comments
Perhaps you don't remember Jeb Eddy? This fool:
It was a search on newsmeat that exposed this fraud back to 1999.
Sometimes you have to be man enough to deal with facts, instead of putting your hands over your ears and yelling "la la la la" as loud as you can. Leave that behavior to the DU 'mos.
