To: Its a Culture War

I agree. They want to take away everthing sacred. I mean first it was tobacco, then Jesus Christ, then good food like a cheeseburger and fries and now beer.

We need to revolt or something. Everyone at 8:00 on Friday night (tonight) pop open a beer in retaliation of this stupid proposal. You know it used to be that someone could come up with a stupid proposal and people would just laugh and it would go away. Now they become laws.

Plus, in college I had quite a few warm beers. I would imagine many have in their lives.

I agree that some get carried away with anti alcohol legislation but then again they've seen the resulting bloodshed and misery of drinking and driving. Until people become more responsible about drinking/flying/operating any machine, etc - beer or ice wine or anything - they should not be driving. Period.
