I spoke with a person who just got back from Iraq. We spoke this past week. I asked him about the Army Times magazine. He told me that he no longer reads it.
He said it was run by a group that runs a MSM newspaper that is pretty left leaning.
They seem to run under Military Times, but there is a parent company.
The soldier told me he there was a USA Today reporter asking him questions. He said the questions were very left leaning and when he asked when his answers to the questions would be printed, he was told they would not.
The soldier thinks it was because he did not give an answer that went against the Chief and the war effort. Seems the reporters in theater are fishing around through many soldiers, until they find the one of few who has the attitude they want.
He was pretty upset about it.
PING. Pass this on.
Good to know. Thanks.
Army Times is a Gannett publication as is USA Today. Definitely left leaning.
ping...outed!
Yeah, I just went and looked at Navy Times, Army Times, and the others.
All the stories I clicked on were Associated Press stories.
Some of them were pretty Anti Bush.
Air Force Times is junk reporting.

Guess they work the crowds the way the prefer.
I asked the soldier I spoke with about how his fellow troopers felt, he said they were pretty upbeat and wanted to finish the job. They were not happy to hear the stories in the media. They felt like the media was trying to work against them.
This info should be passed around about this Gannet
LeftiePig production, so that all our miltary branches
and personell, will no longer co-operate with these
stinking rat traitor enemies of our People.
Army Times and Miltary Times....and any other
filthy traitor rats from any other Gannet pissrag.
I have yet to met a serviceman or woman that does not support the President.
Where can someone get a copy of "All Hands and Soldiers"
I know quite a few in the military who want some better can lit.
Legally yes...but politically, there are many that don't...
Bump. Thanks for making this known.
AS a caostie, I was told to keep my political views quiet, as our BMC (the Xo on my ship) was a lefty. I was engineering division. 2 strikes already. He was one who would only try to right up sailors for haircut violations after he got his, and we hadn't been granted liberty after 8 weeks at sea.
