I didn't realize XM was so liberal, but I usually stick with Fox, America Right and the music channels.

I think satellite radio is kicking in at exactly the WRONG time. Podcasts are the way of the future. And most of them are FREE! Plus you can listen to them at your convenience.

Yeah , but other than Ope & Andy, and *a* sports
channel..there was a dearth of talk/news channels.

When I first heard DirecTV was picking up XM, i was
quite pleased..but all the channels that i wanted
that XM carries, are part of the DirecTV "Package".
None of the talk radio channels..and no OTR channel...
...it was a non-event for me.

in all seriousness, i just setup my Sirius satellite.. i do love it, but there is far more left leaning talk radio channels .. theres like 3 NPR's, 2 left talk channels, and a few other left slanted channels that i dont recall their names... while only have 2 right talk channels ... and foxnews seems to be removed, because i am unable to find it.

Anybody know the story on Bill Bennett being replaced on XM by Wall Street Journal featurettes? Bennett's show is happening, IMHO. XM's loss. (They may lose me, too, before long.)

I just ordered a Grundig S350 AM/FW/SW radio. The reviews for AM reception are FANTASTIC! Got it on Ebay from Shaper Image and saved about $30 including shipping, total about $87. They've come out with an upgraded version S350DL, for about $50 more with stereo headphone jack and AFC. It's a very cool looking radio with KNOBS, not buttons.

Have you tried CC Radio Plus? It's good esp at night, but still reception is static in rural area.

I've seen the Grundig advertised and often wondered how it compared to the CC Radio.

The other radio that gets mentioned alot is the GE Super Radio III, about $50, but it is only AM/FM, no SW.

Hannity is on ABC Radio on Sirus. Don't forget Michael Medved.

Hannity is also on XM along with Tony Snow, but as for Michael Medved, he was removed a couple months ago from the XM America Right to be replaced by Dr. Laura who I wish they would have left on the "Ask" channel. I also wish (and periodically e-mail to both parties) that Rush would go on XM. Can't understand why he doesn't. Heard him say a long time ago that he didn't want to because he didn't want to hurt his affiliates but I can't pick him up on AM radio where I work but can pick up XM so how would my listening on satellite hurt his affiliates?
