Back From Iraq, Marines Have One Last Christmas Mission

A group of Marines who have just finished two tours of duty in Iraq have one last mission to complete before going home for the holidays. The Marines are being asked to help deliver holiday cheer to a tribe of American Indians living in a remote location.

How can this be. Hanoi Jane in her latest exploits is telling us United States Marines are just killing machines.

Marines bring 'Toys for Tots' to Havasupai Indian reservation


Marines from the Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 764 arrive in a CH-46 Sea Knight to deliver food and toys to the Havasupai Indians. This is an annual event for the canyon tribes.

Really a nice hike in early spring, the falls are fantastic, the formations are mind blowing.

Take a lite pack, it is warmer on the canyon floor than at the rim and water is no problem. The hike back up to the rim can take a *bit* of effort.
