Can anything stop Hillary? [BJ's adultery rumors]
The Spectator (UK) ^ | December 16, 2005 | Tina Brown

It may have been lost in all the news about Iraq but Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, Democrat Senator of New York, has received the 2005 National Farmers Union presidential award for her leadership in introducing the Milk Import Tariff Equity Act. The snippy feminist who nearly derailed her husband’s first presidential campaign by scoffing that she didn’t just ‘stay home and bake cookies’ can now be presented as the Butter Queen of the Empire State.

[Predictable fluff snipped.]

Which is why the constant muttering about what may or may not be going on with Bill in private is a bomb that Democrats fear will explode sometime between a Hillary nomination and a Hillary victory.

There are old but persistent rumours of two female names, one a comely Canadian former MP, the other ‘a brunette neighbour’ in Chappaqua. At media dinner parties in New York someone is bound to mutter that Time or Newsweek or the National Enquirer are ‘sitting on a major story about Bill’. Maybe it’s just reverse nostalgia. But if it were true, would America’s voters be willing to go through another Clintonian marital psychodrama? And could they picture Hillary as commander-in-chief with an image of Bill hound-dogging in the background? The risk makes even her fans long for an alternative (preferably male, red-state and conventionally married). Senator John Kerry, who was beaten by Bush last time, is said to be banking on this scenario — the party will turn to him again, he fantasises, after a sudden Hillary withdrawal

The incredibly unsurprising news will only come out if Senator Clinton's handlers decide that it will be advantageous to her.

This lead to an apparent linkage with Bill, but my first
thought was "Hillary girlfriends". Journies need to be
careful about how they write these stories (probably
impossible for them, given their required incompetence).

Anyway, perhaps there are several bedroom bombs ticking.

Could this by why democrats are suddenly showing signs of turning against hilary? Not because of her positions, but because they are starting to realize that she simply can't win.

It will come out and it will be to her advantage. She's always gained in popularity when she's able to play the victim.

It could consolidate the Left around her like it did the Philanderer himself. Could be handy for her to cry 'right wing attack machine' to get the peaceniks on board for her if they're still digging in their heels.

They are already falling apart faster than Wal Mart underwear.

Plus, they might like to get their party back.

I'm sure a lot of them resent the fact that the former
Clinton Admin is still running the show, despite two
major losses.

As the subjects of Hillary's stolen FBI files retire,
her power decreases.

I'll never understand why she didn't just divorce the dirtbag they day after they left the White House. She gains nothing by staying married to him. He has the most to gain from her now.

The media knew that JFK was a compulsive womanizer who slept with a different woman every day he inhabited the White House, but they kept it completely under the rug until decades after Kennedy's death.

Earlier, the media knew that FDR was a cripple who was unable to stand up out of his wheelchair, but they kept that a secret for all of his four terms in office. Does anyone imagine they would have done the same favor for Herbert Hoover?

The media know that BillyJeff is a rapist and a compulsive womanizer who is constantly messing around, but they will keep it to themselves, unless hillary instructs them otherwise.

Hillary has done very well playing the victim card. If she decides to dump clinton and go for a divorce, because her longsuffering has finally reached its limits, the press will be delighted to help her put it in the most favorable light. Meantime, anyone who bashes clinton will be portrayed as a mean-minded conservative who is uptight about sex. Anyway, everyone does it.

I cannot imagine Hillary surviving a presidential run in the face of 21st century communications and document retrieval cababilities.
