Yes, surprising for the so-called "journalists" of the "Mainstream Newsmedia", who for a long time have believed their own propaganda.
If the willingly self-deluded get off with nothing more than suruprise, they're lucky. Such hubris and denial are often far more costly--if you know what I mean.
They're particularly lucky that the American people didn't believe their relentless, unceasing, morally reprehensible propaganda. Had their propaganda been more effective--i.e. had their mendacity been less transparent--the American people could have been dangerously misled.
As it is, the American people have recognized the "Mainstream Newsmedia" as the ignominious Propaganda Machine that it is and have relegated its so-called "journalists" to the level of snake-oil salesmen, con-artists, and other bottom dwellers, somewhere below used car salesmen and ambulance chasing lawyers, where they belong.
