Honestly?
It wouldn't surprise me.
Whenever someone dies under suspicious circumstances-especially an important political figure, e.g. Zia ul-Haq-suspicions should be raised.
Even though the ayatollahs have retarded the Iranian aviation beyond comprehension.
I have my own phobias about getting on a plane here-especially these days-so I don't know what I would do if I lived in a country like that.

My sources told me that there was a high level military unit from the Iranian Navy and Iran's Military HQ on the plane as well!

Oh my, took the words right out of my mouth.
Prayers for the dead, the wounded, and the rescue/recovery workers. Whether they care, or not. Whether Allah cares or not.

Just heard on the radio that the plane was full of journalists going out to see "military exercises". Quite a nice way to get rid of problematic journalists in a government that's paranoid of overthrow by the people. Just get all the pesky journalists in one plane, and make sure it doesn't make it.
I don't have any love lost for the MSM here, but I don't doubt it a bit that the Iranian media was no friend of the Iranian government.

I just read where this is America's fault, because we failed to provide adequate spare parts for these 30 yar old aircraft. Of course, they didn't have sense enough to ground the planes?
