"There was between 74 and 90 people aboard plane", declared Mr. Abdolrahimi, director of the public relations of the Civil aviation to the television of State.
The plane was crushed in the district of Yaftabad, located at the south of the airport of Mehrabad, (southern west of Teheran).
Iran has C-130 and F-14 aircraft.

That makes more sense. I was trying to figure out why a military transport was using the Tehran airport.
TEHRAN, Dec 6 (Reuters) - A military C-130 aircraft carrying 80 passengers and 10 crew crashed into a residential area in southern Tehran on Tuesday, police and Red Crescent officials said.The plane crashed while trying to make an emergency landing at Tehran's main international Mehrabad airport.
"It is awful down here. I am suffocating," Red Crescent official Shahram Alamdari told Reuters by telephone from the scene, before hanging up. There was no immediate word on casualties.
In Iran's last major military air disaster, an Iranian Ilyushin-76 troop carrier crashed in the southeast of the country on Feb. 19, 2003, killing all 276 Revolutionary Guard soldiers and crew aboard.
The press with blame America for not supplying them with spare parts.
