What I could not nor will ever be able to figure out, is how Jeb pounded McBride in 2002, yet the folks of this state voted in favor of the class size amendment, which Jeb opposed! He's been a great governor here.

There's been that activity ever since 2000.

Last year, even my very liberal neighbor said Bush was doing a very good job after the hurricanes. You know, a good governor is not a bad thing. There are few politicians who deserve to be called great.

You neglected to add the pig size admendmendent, and the high speed transit fiasco that we nullified, as well.
I know they were not all at the same time, but I've seen this split even on FR where the members cite MSM polls and stats while on other posts decrying them.

I'll be there in less than a week. :-)

Sorry I missed those! I purposely left off that we also passed the no-smoking amendment! What a shame!

By the way, there is a move afoot to repeal the class size amendment! And, now we passed forced kindergarten! When will children be allowed to be children and not be indoctrinated into socialism by our government/union teachers?!!

I despise our present governor, Mike Easley, but he does a damn good job during storms here in NC.

A blatant attempt to "dissuade" Jeb! from running for another office. What a crapload. Jeb! has been a damn good governor.

Interesting spin...What is the Gov's rating outside of Tallahassee?Right on...exempt the Socialist enclaves of Tallahassee, West Palm and Broward and JEB! would have an approval way way way over 52%.
For God's sake: the best the lame 'rats in this state could come up to go against him was Bud McKlame and Baked McBride? C'mon.

I'll keep an eye out for that movement. - Ping me if you hear anything else about it.
The problem that I see with these silly or stupid amedments is that they seem to attract all of those certain people to vote aye, but the rest of the voters aren't that interested either way.
I don't like anything about the NEA.
Such control over our children should be abolished.

Many bring up Terri Schiavo to kick up some dust. Jeb said one thing and did another in that situation. That was a major doublecross on his part but he would be great to head up FEMA. Jeb knows hurricanes better than anyone.
Happy Thanksgiving, Florida freepers.

Jeb pounded McBride because he was getting inside info on McBride from former Holland & Knight employees who shall remain nameless. Jeb also thanked free republic for helping him too. That was his last hurrah imo.
