TALLAHASSEE -- More Florida voters rate Jeb Bush as a good governor rather than great, so-so or bad, and slightly more than half approve of the job he is doing, a poll released Wednesday shows.
Those responses were similar to results from a separate question that gave Bush a 53 to 37 percent approval rating

Headline seems misleading.
It pretty much tracks the party registrations here in Fla. I think Bush has been better than some of his predecessors, and certainly not worse than any of them.
more Florida voters rate the AP as a mediocre, but not a good news service too
I see. Setting Jeb up for a smear campaign in case he decides to run for President.
Wait a second here!!! Who is this Bush guy they are talking about as Govenor of Florida? That is impossible as the AP assured me back in 2002 that Floridians would never ever ever ever re-elect Gov. Bush given the seeething anger over Florida 2000. Someone better tell the AP that according to the alternate reality they previously created, this new alternate reality is clearly impossible. Of course, alternatively, it could be that the double alternative reality created a worm hole or somehing, but lets not get treky here.
FLORIDA 1992 - BUSH 41 WINS
FLORIDA 1998 - JEB BUSH WINS
FLORIDA 2000 - BUSH 43 WINS
FLORIDA 2002 - JEB BUSH WINS
FLORIDA 2004 - BUSH 43 WINS
THE LIST ABOVE INDICATES TRUTH
AP + FAKE POLL + FAKE NEWS = LIES
FAKE POLLS DO NOT TRANSLATE INTO REAL VOTERS
very true....all but this:
FLORIDA 1992 - BUSH 41 WINS
you got it
Only history will really tell.
Jeb says that Floridians have been good -- but not great --citizens.
BUSH 41 WON FLORIDA IN 1992
BUSH 41: 2,173,310 (40.9%)
CLINTON: 2,072,698 (39.0%)
PEROT: 1,053,067 (19.8%)
OTHER: 15,317 (0.3%)
And Florida is a crazy state to try to govern. There is such a mix of people and cultures. And they get a lot of hurricanes! So I think he's done a great job, all things considered.
But he's already insisted that he isn't running for President, right?
My State's Governor, Jeb Bush is a fine and able State Chief Administrator. He is mostly a nuts and bolts guy who gets the job done, with very little fanfare. He is below the political radar most of the time, keeping the citizens interests above all others. What he is not is a demogoguing Democrat or a political showhorse. The AP is FOS.
Many on this board have been smearing Jeb for a long time now. Think Terri Shiavo.
He said he is not interested in replacing his brother in 2008. He said he may consider a later campaign.
So, what is a "great" governor?
