I haven't bothered to watch CiC, but I thought it insightful and interesting that...
2 weeks ago, the story line was 'scandal rocks the [Gena Davis] White House'. [Scandal, huh? hmmmmm]
Last week, the story line was 'Prez (Davis) gets video that would ruin her opponent'. [Video to smear her opponent. hmmm.]
Maybe CiC IS what a Hillary Clinton presidency would be like.

I speculated several months ago that the show was primarily intended to serve as a "trial balloon" for a Hillary Clinton run in 2008. The ratings of this show will be one factor in determining just how feasible it would be for her to run.

Whose trial balloon? This is a ruthless, self-centered, power-hungry witch with an undeveloped core and an overdeveloped sense of entitlement.
Chris Matthews, Harold Ickes and David Geffen... and Susan Estrich before she was bought off... and all the smart money... already understand that a hillary clinton candidacy is not a good thing for the Democrat Party.... So whose trial balloon, anyway?
