Copy of my letter to Senator Frist et al.

Dear Senator,

On Monday I made a $2000 donation to Senator Norm Coleman's reelection campaign. On Tuesday, you and your colleagues betrayed everything I have spent 30 years supporting the GOP for. If the utterly stupid Warner and McCain Amendments are allowed to come out of Committee and are sent to the President as part of this years Appropriations Bill, I will NEVER donate another dollar or minute of my time to any current US Senator for any office anywhere ever again.

The Republican Senate Leadership has made an enormus blunder by allowing the Warrner Amednment to go forward. It should of never been allowed on the floor. No amount of spinning or excuse making can rectify that error.

You have betrayed the President for the last time. Either the shameful attempt to dictate to the President on Detainee Treatment and on the Iraq war effort is REMOVED or you can plan on being the Minority in the US Senate after 2006. Republicans do NOT reward treason with their time, their money nor their votes.

Great letter.

But more important than betraying our President, they betrayed our sons husbands and brothers and sisters on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan, whose shoes they are not fit to be crushed under.

Definition of insanity: Keep doing what you always did and expect a different result.
So why do we keep voting for Republicans under the mistaken notion that they will behave like conservatives?

HI, I live in so. mpls. I called Coleman's office for his vote for the Warner amendment and said i hoped he would talk to Friske about having a re-count - e mailed the Senate leadership and also Warner.......Have you called Coleman's office and said you want your money back? Or perhaps cancel the check and mail them the cancelled check with a "too bad you voted against Anwar and for Warner"
