Dans la nuit de lundi à mardi un engin incendiaire a été lancé "en direction d'une salle de prière" musulmane à Annemasse (Haute-Savoie), sans faire de dégâts, indique un communiqué de la préfecture à Annecy.

Selon l'AFP, l'incident s'est produit vers 0h20 mardi. La façade de cette mosquée, située dans un quartier sensible, a été légèrement noircie par la fumée. Selon le communiqué, le préfet de Haute-Savoie a fait part au président de l'association NOUR, qui s'occupe du lieu de culte, "de sa ferme condamnation de l'acte qui a frappé la mosquée, de sa considération pour les fidèles de cette salle de prière, et du soutien des services de l'Etat". A Annemasse, ville frontalière avec Genève, 3 voitures ont été incendiées dans la nuit. Pour l'ensemble du département de Haute-Savoie, 16 véhicules ont été détruits par le feu.
