St-Denis, Paris - They move in packs - always at night - like hyenas, bringing entire communities of tower blocks in the city's suburbs to their knees.

These young men are often school dropouts or unemployed, and often from fatherless homes. Their reign of terror is dominated by violence, theft and drug selling.

Women complain that they are harassed and sometimes threatened for not complying with their whims.

Some law enforcement officials say the violence that has engulfed France's tough suburbs - and yesterday spread to Paris proper - was instigated by criminal gangs hoping to turn their neighbourhoods into no-go zones so that their underground economies of drug-trafficking and racketeering could thrive.

They have been doing this since 1970, that I personally know about...
I remember that my local family at the time blanched when I reported that I had spent the entire day walking and photographing an intensely muslim neighborhood. I just went out to explore on my first day ever in Paris, and didn't know any better.

My clearest image of the place were the graffiti: Death to Nixon... and Yankee go home.

Well, now that the French are experiencing their own intifada, we suggest that they resolve the problem using the very same plan that they have been trying for decades to impose upon Israel. Yes, comrades, it is time to implement the Land for Peace Plan, Paris-style. Here it is:

First, until this plan is implemented in full, we must insist that the French government acknowledge that there is no military or police solution to the problems of violence in its suburbs, and only through recognizing the legitimacy of the demands of the murderers and rioters outside Paris can the problems be resolved.

It is obviously time to lay to rest the notion that this rioting has anything to do with Islam or Jihad or Intifada - - it's nothing more than a European version of the crap that happens in American cities when a teenage scumbag kills himself in a high-speed police chase, or gets shot by a cop during a hold-up.

All the malcontents, government-addicted parasites, and general miscreants found an excuse to go on a tear when those two teenagers were killed. I guarantee there is massive looting going on over there, but for some reason we are not hearing much about it. It ain't just kids setting cars on fire, that's for sure.
