THC levels in marijuana has actually remained constant. What's making weed stronger is additives from other drugs such as cocaine or PCP.

You are wrong. Cloning better strands has made the THC stronger. Laced weed is just that. Very seldom do people unknowingly receive this because the dealer would loose money due to purchasing the more expensive drugs to put in it.

"THC levels in marijuana has actually remained constant. What's making weed stronger is additives from other drugs such as cocaine or PCP."

This is completely false. The stories of bags of weed being laced with cocaine and PCP are virtually myths. If you know anything about street prices for drugs, lacing weed with a much more expensive substance such as cocaine makes absolutely no sense and simply does not occur on the street ever. Stories of other things being added to bags should be treated with extreme skepticism.

So what does that mean? Are those people addicted, incredibly stupid, or possibly both?

Regardless if they are any of those, we don't need to arrest 700,000 people for doing harmless stupid things or having harmless addictions.

Most people are busy trying to defend their right to continue to get high and be oblivious to reality. Actually for pro marijuana people to stumbling across that kind of research would be a shocking surprise for me.

Some people cant see the forest through the trees because their pleasure of escaping reality is more important than the larger picture.

This photo of Monty Python above reminds me of what kind of people I might be debating with.

Since you insist that the research exists, you should be able to give us a cite or two.

Because I am not the person that needs to defend legalization.

If anyone wants to present a case. Intellectual honesty is important. I haven't seen that from advocates of marijuana. Just the same kind of search and avoid arguments that liberals use.

So what's reality? Drinking is an escape from reality. TV is an escape from reality and both are more damaging than weed. So where are your studies of it's adverse effects on society or even  you in general?

I agree with you that people are trying to defend their right to get high, however these people who are defending this belief in a logical manner are definitely not oblivious to reality. Defending ones right and citing information pertaining to that belief shows a distinct concern with present reality, and their willingness to try to change peoples ideas about what Marijuana is further shows their concern with this present reality. There are plenty of people who use Marijuana responsibly and subsequently look for ways to dispell the idea that all users are "stoned slackers" and other stereotypical ideas.

Of course not everyone that uses Marijuana is like this. Many people also do use/abuse it to escape reality indifinitely, and these are the people who create negative stereotypes that many people want to avoid being lumped into with.

What research were you referring to? Erowid or others?

I am sorry but I refuse to post anymore research. I have posted enough to write a book here already.

Please use the search engine here or google april15bendovr Marijuana. You will find lots of research I have posted tirelessly. I most note that when I talk to others here I am also up against the behavior and addiction of use. If I offend anyone her its because I feel you need to put your binky down and be welcomed to consciousness.

Why would you think that alcohol is less dangerous than marijuana?

There are essentially two kinds of people who are against the WoD: 1) circus freaks who just want to get stoned, 2) people who are horrified by federal government's overstepping of its Constitutional authority or the heavy-handedness with the government (federal and state) enforce laws which essentially outlaw a common weed, tromping on civil liberties in the process.

What about those of us who fit both categories? ;-)

Something tells me you may not want the truth because its not fitting to your agenda. I hope I am wrong.

Your hope is fulfilled - you are wrong.

"Honestly, do you think those who never done marijuana before would all of a sudden use it if it became legal?"

Honestly? Yes. You don't think so?
