"You ever get the feeling you are slightly outnumbered? Putin is arming the worst pack of tyrants in 2005, The Mullahs, Hugo, Assad, and what do we have here? Could it be true....Hamas death cultists in the Gaza Strip? Wow - Tell everyone it's not so."
Anyone that thinks the Russians are not fully involved in arming whether through nuclear how to, weapontry, or general aid, known enemies of the USA, must have their heads in the sand. No other way to look at it. There has been entirely to much good will offered by the L/MSM (are hints required), of how well the US and Russia work together, to avoid seeing through the mirage. Russia has not changed much dispite the ongoing years of L/MSM reporting and otherwise. They have their agenda. And it does not include a full cooperation with the US interest. To think otherwise is folly. We are two different civilzations for one. This crap for years about Pepsi Cola and whatever taking over the Russian psychic is for American consumption. Nice warm fuzzy feelings. The Russians have their agendas. And nothing will stop them from pursuing eventual warm water ports for commercial growth, and their strong desire to once again be seen as a super power. The list is long and it is past my bedtime. So I will leave it go at that.
The former trucked in shipment predicament has been such a 'burden for Damascus'. Assad & company require that burden be lifted (in more ways then one.)
I wonder what statements will be forth coming from Paris & Moscow when Saddam's 'missing' weapons are recovered?
I shall honor any required response, but my eye balls are rolling around ready for sleep. Price of achciving 59, ha ha. I bookmarmked this thread that includes your post/references. Hopefully I shall get to them tommorow if the good Lord bids me another day. But as you are so aware, there are so many loose ends that yet must be un-raveled and pointed out. As many Freepers have commented on over the past year plus, based on articles and blog sites etc., many things where move out of the country. And surely it was not just trucks full of Iraqi dinars to support future insurgency operations by Izzat Ibriham el-Dorui and his minons. Stuff was move to the Beka Valley, and perhaps other areas, within Syria. And the Russians are not innocent bystanders. To think otherwise is admitting complete ignorance in the matter.
Yeah ! "You really have no idea how mistaken several of you are on Russia." Gary has spoken ! Gary is from Special Forces, so he knows what is really going on !
So gary how do you explain the russian governments behavior? You already sent me a message a few weeks ago saying but Putin is a christian believer. You know what, actions speak louder than saying you're christian and the way they are always since ww2 involved in everything going counter to US and western European intrests says alot. They keep rearming the worst regimes in history and through to this day. We arent fools here and can see where this is heading.
Gary is one of our resident apologists.
Where's jb6?
He's around here somewhere. He tends to avoid the really damning evidence when it can't be denied(it looks to bad), otherwise he spins it far and wide. And I anoint him king of the apologists when it comes to Russia, though I lean to the side he is an agent.
"though I lean to the side he is an agent."
Maybe they sent the last check by submarine.
Thank you for the ping...scary to consider, where this is going to lead.
Ping
Here's a possible hidden clause in these deals - rights of usage on short notice. And if that is the case, then, for all intents and purposes, proliferation may actually be hidden predeployment into geographies meant the threaten the West in a manner similar to what happened with the SS-20s but even worse, given potential deployments in the Americas. Except this time, there will be no Western reaction, no Ronald Reagan promising our own IRBM counterforce near the Axis countries.
Truer words have never before been written!
Herr Putin, SS man with a Russian accent.
