All around the country young people are organizing themselves against the invasion of military recruiters and JROTC programs in our schools. We are standing up to demand a positive alternative to war and the military. We want a future that includes funding for education and job training and real opportunities for our generation. NOT YOUR SOLDIER!

On November 17, International Students Day, join youth and students from around the country in UFPJ's first nationally coordinated day of action for and about young people! NOT YOUR SOLDIER!

Exactly! Maybe then our campuses might produce some graduates who can actually qualify for and hold jobs. On the whole anti-military front the left perpetuates, it's almost getting to the point where these people aren't worth defending at all. The oath that you take take when joining the military is to defend the United States Contstitution, not people or geography. Realistically, we know that 75% fo the citizens and the land is worth defending, but the left? It might make sense to sacrifice them to the enemy.

A group of students should start off a class action suit against these educators for preventing them from continuing career choices. Back in the 60's (in New England) they did the same thing. Students that had Jr ROTC in the south got promotions right out of basic. Despite them I still made a 30 year career without any of their help. But seriously, I'm not joking if these youngsters today file, I'll donate to their cause.

The Left wants to kick recruiters off campuses for the same reason they are gleeful that the Army is falling short on it's recruitment goals...the Left wants to reinstate the draft.

One of the reasons the Left wants to reinstate the draft is that their arguments about sending unwilling sons and daughters into combat is undermined by the fact that we have an all VOLUNTEER army. That fact gets in their way of arguing against war...so they seek to change the fact and reinstate the draft.

You must mean Private Schools. Since State Colleges contribute more to the school than does the Fed.

The state colleges are supported by that states tax payers, so there would be very few colleges that would able to remain.

The other thing is that many states have rules requiring males to be registered with the Selective Service System to be eligible for state tuition assistance. I wonder how many of these bed wetting libs actually didn't comply with the law and are improperly receiving tuition aid?

The documentary on Saddam and his sons, Uday and Qusay should be required viewing to all protesters, anti-Americans and students in the US. What those three did is utterly unthinkable even in the Arab world. Hitler and Idi Amien, incredible, murderous brutes, cannot hold a candle to Saddam and his sons. Protesters should be rounded up, put in rooms and be made to watch this before ever being given a license/permits to protest anything!
