You are actually acting like a Democrat. It's the right who debates, educates themselves, and comes to a consensus. The left supports their kind with monolithic zeal because they are left. You support Miers because it is Bush. Please don't confuse debate with opposition to Bush. You and Bush don't get it.
Sadly, the party that talks about rugged individualism and self reliance has a strange habit of collapsing like a house of cards in a hurricane if things don't go exactly their (narrowly tailored) way.
Frankly, these last two days clearly shows that there isn't that much difference between petulant, singular minded liberals who want activist judges, and petulant, singlular minded conservatives who want activist judges.
