This flu is killing as much as 55% of the people contracting it. It is now spreading person to person. Migratory birds have spread it nearly world wide. It could leave millions dead in its wake.

How? How do you quarantine a group that is often secretive. Husbands are sometimes bisexual, or they use prostitutes. Homosexuals often don't tell people that they are homosexuals.

You could quarantine people who exhibit symptoms but HIV and AIDS can take years to appear and the infected person can be spreading the virus the whole time. As far as I can see, education is the best weapon against AIDS, teaching people that morality matters and promiscuity and some drug use is dangerous.

With Avian Flu, the disease becomes identifiable in a short amount of time. The danger there is that governments will cover up the epidemic, as China apparently did and as the Canadians might be trying to do.
