The only issue that David Gibbs can ever remember Jesse Jackson and Rush Limbaugh agreeing on was the fact that Terri Schiavo should remain alive.
...
Gibbs called removing Schiavo's feeding tube "barbaric and uncivilized." Florida law does not allow the starvation of animals and the constitution does not allow the starvation of convicted murderers, he said.
...
Felos said faith-based organizations, religious leaders, priests and rabbis distorted the facts in the Schiavo case.

Americans have a short attention span, and it's even shorter for the news media. Although we've stopped talking about Terri Schiavo, the debate over her fate that gripped the nation for weeks in March didn't end with the death of the 41-year-old brain-injured Florida woman.

Dutch belittle value of life
It is tragic but not a surprise that the Netherlands is expanding its euthanasia policy for newborns, Dutch prepare to legalize euthanasia for infants (Sept. 30).
A leader among Western European nations that has nurtured a death wish for themselves, the Netherlands has practiced abortion, euthanasia and assisted suicide for years. Human life has no intrinsic value for these people. It is a commodity to be produced and annihilated at will.
As early as 1987, the Dutch government drafted guidelines for the practice of euthanasia. And the Dutch Health Council advised the Cabinet that even children under age 16 should be able to request euthanasia without family involvement.
That same year, articles appeared describing the practice of providing lethal doses of drugs to children that they could take when they felt suicidal.
In July 1992, the Dutch Pediatric Association issued formal guidelines for killing newborns indicating that euthanasia was an integral part of good pediatric practice. Not only were terminally ill infants eligible for euthanasia, but also those with mental retardation and chronic illness. And according to medical ethicist Evert van Leeuwen, the reality of the situation is that doctors determine whether the child is killed, even if it is against the wishes of the parents.
Could this happen in the United States? It already has. Florida euthanized Terri Schiavo without her consent, against the wishes of her parents and siblings. Oregon legalized assisted suicide in 1994.
Abortion, legal since 1973, is nothing more than infanticide.
Princeton Universitys Peter Singer, a bioethicist and outspoken advocate of infanticide and euthanasia, states in his chilling 1997 edition of Practical Ethics, the main point is clear: Killing a disabled infant is not morally equivalent to killing a person.

Today I received a solicitation phone call to contribute to the National Republican Committee.
I told them that after Gov. and Pres. Bush did not use their executive powers to save Terri Schiavo, I would not be contributing to them - perhaps never again.
I said that I would, however, be contributing to pro-life, conservative candidates, & that's the best I would do.
I am planning on writing a letter to the editor about my call. I am looking for one more sentence to add to my letter. Any suggestions?
I am glad there are books coming out of the woodwork that bring the incredible light of truth to this horrific state sanctioned torturous murder.
God Bless this author and may the full truth of Terri's incredible fight to live under breathtakingly neglectful and wrongful circumstances be brought home to every American.
michael schiavo is a psychopath, and the legal system that helped him murder Terri is corrupt.
It is scary stuff.
Thanks for the great synopsis of Diana Lynee's book. Wonder if she will autograph a few and send them to greer, felos, MS, the Floridian powers that be, and the talking heads.
Maybe she could have a booksigning in Clearwater....

God bless Diana Lynne (and Sarah Foster) who did their best to get the truth out there. I'll be ordering this book as soon as I finish posting.
Dutch prepare to legalize euthanasia for infants
That's so sad.
Our own son would have been murdered by them had we been under Dutch jurisdiction.

...doctors in the Netherlands started euthanizing "individuals who were neither dying nor disabled but who were simply old and, in fact, lonely. They moved on to depressed patients, then they moved into cases where the patient hadn't given consent at all."

Great idea!!
All bow at Greer's smelly feet.
There is someone much more powerful that is pulling greer's strings and having others follow his command. Someone pushed this yes man into power. Do we know who that is?
Frustrated at his inability to pinpoint the cause of the Schiavo's mysterious collapse in 1990 which resulted in her brain damage after ruling out heart attack and a bulimia-induced potassium imbalance Thogmartin emphasized the case is not closed.

Her murderers will be prosecuted. I just don't know a date certain.
There was an article awhile back about Terri killing the GOP. The name only GOPers did it to themselves. They are dragging down the national party for what they participated in.
GOP = Greer's Own Party
